We are forever going to have late breaking news and the excitement that comes with it, but it also adds another wrinkle to lineup building. Tonight is no different, and here some situations we are keeping an eye on:
- Cole Anthony is out again with an ankle injury so that gives a nice boost to Jalen Suggs and gives Gary Harris some value as a GPP dart throw.
- Evan Mobley looks to be making his return in a favorable matchup against Orlando. We liked Jarrett Allen heading into the slate, so this does change things slightly.
- Jalen Brunson and his foot injury are questionable so that could could put some work for grabs in Dallas' backcourt with Trey Burke being the biggest potential beneficiary based on playing time.
- The Knicks will be a little thin in the backcourt with Kemba Walker and Derrick Rose sidelined tonight, so the hope is that we didn't put the cover photo jinx on Immanuel Quickley.
- No Spencer Dinwiddie tonight means we get a boost from Bradley Beal and other Washington wing players. Aaron Holiday looks to be getting the start, so he becomes a GPP, dart, option.
With an over/under at 226, I would expect to see a lot of offense, and minimal defense between Charlotte and Houston tonight. With the exception of Phoenix and Brooklyn at 224, no other game is within 10 points of them.
Before we get into the core plays, I do want to note that the Knicks and Hawks aren't available in Yahoo tonight on their main slate.
