We’re in the stretch run of the season and making some fantasy football waiver wire additions and subtractions could win you a championship. Let’s dive into the top fantasy basketball waiver wire adds this week as we reference Yahoo! Fantasy for their roster percentages.

Fantasy Basketball Picks: Top Waiver Wire Adds

Naz Reid, Minnesota Timberwolves (71% Yahoo!)

Yeah, he was already highly rostered coming into the week but Naz Reid is a must-own-player with Karl-Anthony Towns sidelined for the foreseeable future. Reid is not going to start unless a fire breaks out, they’ll simply start Kyle Anderson until then, but he’s going to be the Timberwolves primary player off the bench and we saw him go for a career-high 34 points against Cleveland over the weekend. If he’s still somehow available for the stretch run of the year, grab him NOW.

Caris LeVert, Cleveland Cavaliers (49% Yahoo!)

The Cavs are dealing with so many key injuries as Donovan Mitchell, Max Strus, and Evan Mobley have all gone down, and LeVert has been asked to step up. He’s a quality fantasy producer and has been a top-100 player over the last week despite missing the first game of the week and is available in over 50% of Yahoo! Fantasy leagues. He contributes everywhere and is a great addition while the Cavs are so banged up.

Vasilije Micic, Charlotte Hornets (25% Yahoo!)

As things continue to trend towards LaMelo Ball being shut down for the year, Micic has played more and more for Charlotte and has begun to look like the guy the Thunder were going to get after signing him away from the EuroLeague. Micic has topped 28 minutes in five straight games, scoring double-figure points, and notching four or more assists in all but one of them. He’s not bad on the glass or defensively either. If Tre Mann and Cody Martin miss time, Micic will continue to start.

Fantasy Basketball Streamers: Best Options

Dalano Banton, Portland Trail Blazers (22% Yahoo!)

It’s March in the NBA, so let’s get wild. Or maybe, it’s not all that wild. Banton has been a fantasy monster recently as he continues to play monster minutes for a banged-up Portland team. Will his role continue to be hovering around 40 minutes a game when Scoot Henderson isn’t limited and Jerami Grant is back? It’s unlikely, but he’s playing himself into plenty of court time. He’s scored 25+ points in back-to-back games and has been fantastic peripherally. He has 5+ rebounds and 4+ assists in four straight to boot.

Jake LaRavia, Memphis Grizzlies (17% Yahoo!)

It wouldn’t be surprising if this time next week we’re talking about LaRavia as a permanent add because the Grizzlies seemingly have 1-2 new injuries per week. LaRavia has been solid in four of his last five games, scoring 14+ points, notching two double-doubles, and having two multi-steal games. The Memphis injury report looks like a target shopping list, so as long as that continues LaRavia’s role is here to stay.

Chris Boucher, Toronto Raptors (5% Yahoo!)

We’ve been screaming Free Chris Boucher for years and due to some injuries, Boucher’s been playing more and more. He’s played 24 and 31 minutes in back-to-back games and with Jakob Poeltl and Scottie Barnes lost for the year, they could begin to turn to Boucher more. Playing him alongside Kelly Olynyk makes more sense than it did with Poeltl because of Olynyk’s ability to playmake and play multiple positions. Monitor his minutes moving forward but he could be a streaming option if he’s going to approach 30 minutes for the remainder of the year.
