Alperen Sengun Chalkboard NBA Pick: Higher 15.5 Rebounds + Assists
Sengun is the hub of the NBA's most efficient offense. Houston scores 119.8 points per 100 possessions, first in the league according to ESPN's Hollinger team stats, and Sengun is averaging 8.7 rebounds and 7.8 assists. He's cleared 15.5 rebounds plus assists in four straight games and dished 10 assists in Monday's win over Boston.
He's also had Minnesota's number, averaging 11.8 rebounds and 4.8 assists over his last five games against the Timberwolves. Minnesota's defense is strong, but Anthony Edwards is out, and Sengun has been playing 33-plus minutes a night. Sengun at Higher 15.5 rebounds plus assists leads our Chalkboard NBA picks and is one of the best NBA picks today.
Matisse Thybulle Chalkboard NBA Pick: Higher 1.5 Three-Pointers Made
Thybulle has turned into a reliable floor spacer for the Lakers, making 17 threes in eight games and clearing this line in five of them. He's starting next to Luka Doncic, which means a steady diet of open corner threes, though his minutes dipped to 25 and 19 in his last two games.
Sacramento allows 121.1 points per 100 possessions, second-worst in the league, and plays at the fifth-fastest pace. A 234.5 total points to a high-possession night. Thybulle at Higher 1.5 threes rounds out our Chalkboard NBA picks.
