Toyota/Save-Mart 350 and Azerbaijan Grand Prix Preview
If we thought frustrations were high last weekend at World Wide Technology Raceway, just wait for Sonoma. The NASCAR Cup Series is off to wine country for the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway on Sunday, June 12. Road-course racing is always a great way to get frustrations bubbling over and generate close-quarters racing. The bubbling feud between Chase Elliott, Denny Hamlin, and Ross Chastain will surely be tested this weekend. It’s the second time this season the Cup Series will make both right and left turns following a trip to COTA earlier this year. Last week we saw success in NASCAR DFS and NASCAR betting, what can we expect this week? We can't forget about the Azerbaijan Grand Prix taking place in F1 either!
NASCAR Sonoma Entry List
We have a 36-car field this week for the Toyota/Save-Mart 350. There are some road course ringers in the field that could be helpful cheap plays in DFS as well.

Free NASCAR DFS Coverage
Each week we have a plethora of award-winning FREE coverage for the races. It starts with our Weekly Podcast that breaks down the DFS strategy for each slate, including Truck Series and even F1, and who we’re looking at on each site. Next comes the Track Breakdown with a full set of stats and facts for each driver in the field based on previous races at Sonoma and other road layouts. The weekend brings with it a FREE betting preview at Pickswise, which hit Joey Logano to win last week at +1000, as well as the loaded DFS Playbook. The Playbook gives you all of the best plays for that week’s race for DraftKings and FanDuel for Cash and GPP contests. In addition to all of that, I’m always in the NASCAR Discord channel answering any and all questions and giving out free PrizePicks and Underdog Pick ‘Em plays.
F1 DFS For Azerbaijan Grand Prix
After a fortnight off following Monaco, it’s time for another F1 race weekend. This time we’re racing in Baku in Azerbaijan. It’s one of the best temporary city street circuits on the schedule and always the source of calamity. Following the win by Sergio Perez at the Monaco Grand Prix, there are three drivers squarely in the hunt for the Championship between Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc and the aforementioned Perez. That should make for some dynamite racing through the streets of Baku on Sunday.
Azerbaijan GP Schedule
With the race happening straddling Europe and Asia, as Azerbaijan does, it’s a bit of an earlier schedule for us stateside to watch the on-track schedule.
FP1: Friday June 10, 7:00 am ET
FP2: Friday June 10 10:00 am ET
FP3: Saturday June 11, 7:00 am ET
Qualifying: Saturday June 11, 10 am ET
Azerbaijan Grand Prix: Sunday June 12, 7:00 am ET
Free F1 DFS Coverage for Baku
The coverage will start out with a brief chat about the strategy and track layout for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix on the Weekly NASCAR Podcast. That’s to whet the palate. As the weekend gets going and cars get on track, I’ll have practice updates on the F1 Discord channel as well as on Twitter (@theselzman). Prior to practice and qualifying I will have a FREE betting preview with winners and prop bets up on Pickswise; that piece hit Sergio Perez to win Monaco at +1800. Once the grid is set for the race, the free F1 DFS Playbook will be out giving you the best plays for Captain, Driver, and Constructor spots in your DraftKings F1 builds. As always, I’ll be in the F1 Discord channel to answer any lineup questions you have prior to the race as well.
We’re in for a fantastic weekend of racing with NASCAR Cup Series, Truck Series, and F1 all racing on road courses this weekend!
