After three straight weeks of short track racing, including last week on the dirt surface at Bristol Motor Speedway, we're heading back to Talladega, NASCAR's largest track on the schedule! Can Bubba Wallace repeat last Fall's performance where he scored his first career win at his home track? Or do we see a new driver punch their ticket to the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series playoffs? Talladega is the kind of track where any driver, regardless of equipment, has a chance to pull out a win. Michael McDowell shocked the world winning the 2021 Daytona 500, a similar track to Dega. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is a successful superspeedway racer. Corey Lajoie can even be considered a dark horse this week given his ability to avoid The Big One. Denny Hamlin has won THREE Daytona 500's.
