The 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series season gets underway in just a few hours for the Beef, It’s What’s For Dinner 300 and while the name is a bit of a joke, the racing will hopefully not be. This is Daytona and there is plenty of variance and parody accompanying the action. But we saw qualifying shake out a little different than Friday night’s Craftsman Truck Series race where Zane Smith won for the second straight year in a rain-shortened race. For Saturday’s race a lot of the big name drivers in the best equipment are starting inside the top 20 with most of the studs locked into the top ten. Austin Hill, Parker Kligerman, Cole Custer, Justin Allgaier, etc. are rolling off in the top ten so while they’re among the best in the field, they do present some risk. Check out the breakdown below for Saturday’s NASCAR DFS Core Plays for this evening’s Xfinity Series race from Daytona International Speedway. And don’t miss out on the NASCAR DFS Playbook and the NASCAR DFS Podcast for Sunday’s Daytona 500!

The Core Plays below may confuse some people because I don’t have any top tier plays listed in the Tournament section. That won’t be the case most weeks. However, we need to remember that as good as Austin Hill, Parker Kligerman, and Cole Custer are that there is still plenty of risk in these drivers starting very high. We can’t rely on dominator points and need to realize there is still the possibility they’re caught in a wreck.
