With Major League Baseball action spanning almost the whole day, there are going to be plenty of great MLB player props to choose from over at Underdog Fantasy. If you haven’t been playing on Underdog yet, you’re missing out. Pick your favorite MLB player props from the board, and the more you pick, the more your winnings multiply, should you be correct. Typically, I hang out in the two-to-three pick range, but if I’m feeling confident, we’ll go for gold! At first look, there are two plays that stuck out to me, but I’ll post any updates in the Underdog Fantasy Discord channel as the day goes on. Here are my favorite MLB player props on Underdog Fantasy for Saturday, April 23rd.

Bryce Harper OVER 1.5 Total Bases

While Adrian Houser hasn’t been abused by left-handers like he was last year, that isn’t keeping me away from Harper today. Since the beginning of last season, left-handed hitters have a .272 average and .337 wOBA against Houser, compared to a .194 average and .266 wOBA to righties. Again, since the beginning of last year, Houser’s earned run average is a full run higher on the road (3.73 ERA) compared to at home (2.72 ERA). Harper is hitting .310 with a .517 slugging percentage over the last week and he’s hit safely in six straight contests. Let’s ride the hot bat en route to an over here.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. OVER 1.5 Total Bases

Not only is Guerrero Jr. 2-for-6 with a home run against Houston’s José Urquidy for his career, but the superstar slugger has hit safely in three of his last four games with two multi-hit efforts during that span. He’s hitting .304 over the last week and Urquidy has allowed a .368 batting average to right-handed hitters through two starts this season. Guerrero Jr. has at least two total bases in five of his last nine outings, and Urquidy’s struggles against righties this year should loom large this afternoon, especially with the winds blowing out.

Keep an eye out for updates in the Underdog Fantasy discord channel for more players from me as the board expands throughout the day.
