Today is a great day for MLB player props over at Underdog Fantasy. There’s even a special going on right now with Jordan Clarkson, a NBA player, that you essentially can use as a free square to multiply your winnings further. There are two left-handed hitters on tonight’s MLB slate that comprise my favorite player props of the day. Instead of the normal 2x multiplier, throw in the NBA special and get 6x your entry fee for really getting only two picks (since Clarkson is not going over 100 three-pointers made) correct. Read below for my favorite MLB player props of the day, and keep an eye on the DFS Alarm Discord channel for other plays throughout the day.
Shohei Ohtani OVER 1.5 Total Bases
Ohtani is rocking a seven game hit streak and he has five extra-base hits during this stretch. Beyond that, he has 14 total bases alone over his last three games, and he’s already homered twice off Houston’s Luis García with a .500 wOBA in his career. Left-handed hitters hit .282 against Garcia last year, and against the Angels in particular in 2021, Garcia posted a 4.10 ERA and allowed a whopping six home runs in 26.1 innings (2.1 HR/9).
Bryce Harper OVER 1.5 Total Bases
Harper is starting to heat up, and now gets to go to Colorado’s glorious park for offensive production. Harper has hit safely in five of his last six, homering twice and hitting three doubles in that span. For his career at Coors Field, he’s totaled more than 1.5 bases in 17 of 27 career games, including nine of his last 12 contests in Colorado. Furthermore, Chad Kuhl has routinely struggled against left-handed hitters in his career, and he has a 6.10 ERA at Coors Field.
Keep an eye out for updates in the Underdog Fantasy discord channel for more players from me as the board expands throughout the day.
