Before Underdog Fantasy released their player props for today’s Major League Baseball slate, there were a couple of names I desperately wanted to see. Fortunately, we got a couple of them, and my favorite player props for today are listed below. We are going to attack some advantageous BvP numbers and splits, en route to a profitable day on Underdog Fantasy. Mike Trout OVER 1.5 Total Bases

I was hoping that we would get this line. Trout’s .250 average for his career against Martín Pérez isn’t necessarily anything to write home about, but I’ll target Perez’s numbers against right-handed hitters every day of the week and twice on Sunday. So far in this series against Texas, Trout has three or more total bases in two of the three contests, and he’s hitting .308 with a 1.015 OPS.

 


Bryce Harper OVER 1.5 Total Bases

Not only is Harper 4-for-10 with two home runs against Elieser Hernandez for his career, but Hernandez’s splits greatly favor left-handed hitters. Well, Harper crushed righties last year, and Hernandez struggled against lefties, so just one swing of the bat should give us the over here. Aside from his six strikeouts in the opener, his four earned runs on five hits were less impressive and he did serve up a homer to a lefty in that game. This is my second favorite prop on the slate at time of writing.

 


Francisco Lindor OVER 1.5 Total Bases

Lindor will face off against Humberto Castellanos today, and Lindor has a .304 batting average and 1.119 OPS against righties to begin the 2022 season. Lindor has a 1.889 OPS in six home at-bats this year, thanks to two home runs, and Humberto Castellanos isn’t a pitcher to be afraid of targeting. Through two appearances this season, Castellanos has allowed two earned runs on five hits.
