Happy Memorial Day! After some afternoon Major League Baseball action, it’s time to take a look at some MLB player props for the evening games over on Underdog Fantasy. Two right-handed hitters have caught my eye today, as they find themselves in good matchups this evening. New York’s Pete Alonso is a bad man at home, as is Boston’s Xander Bogaerts, who is one of baseball’s hottest hitters of late. Here are my favorite player props over on Underdog Fantasy for Monday, May 30th.
OVER 1.5 Total Bases
The Boston shortstop Xander Bogaerts has homered once in three at-bats against Tyler Wells in his career, but overall against righties, he’s hitting .321 this year. Furthermore, he’s sporting a .322 average and .403 wOBA at home in 2022. His .346 average over the last seven games should fare quite nicely against Wells, who has allowed a .280 average to right-handed hitters this season. Lastly, Wells is 0-4 with a 6.50 ERA and .324 BAA away from Camden Yards this season.
OVER 1.5 Total Bases
Pete Alonso is hitting .301 against righties this season, and against the particular righty he’s facing today, he’s 6-for-14 in his career. Alonso has a .589 slugging percentage over his last 15 games, and at home this year, he’s hitting .298 with a .388 wOBA.
