Today’s MLB DFS main slate is different on all three major sites as DraftKings has nine games, FanDuel has ten, and Yahoo is using all 15 games.

Pitchers

Marcus Stroman, Cubs (DraftKings - $6200 / FanDuel - $6900 / Yahoo - $35) – Stroman has shown us year in and year out that he is a good pitcher, so I like him despite the slow start to the season. He faced the Brewers in his first start of the year and pitched well, going five innings of one-run ball with three strikeouts. He was capped out at 79 pitches, but that won’t be the case today. The Brewers have the sixth highest strikeout rate in the league this season at 24.8-percent. He is too cheap across every site.

Hitters

Elias Díaz, Rockies (Yahoo - $14) – Diaz, like a lot of Rockies, is far better at home than on the road and that is shown in his slash lines from last season as he slashed .289/.350/.524 at home, compared to .204/.271/.407 on the road. He has crushed lefties to begin this season, slashing .375/.400/.500 against them through 25 plate appearances. Lastly, the lefty arm that he is facing is Sanmartin and he has a 10.91 ERA and 1.85 WHIP through four games this season (three starts).

Ketel Marte, Diamondbacks (Yahoo - $9 / FanDuel $2500) – Marte has been bad to begin the season, but he is coming off two solid games in a row in which he has gone 2-8 with a home run, double, and two runs scored. His price tag has dropped so much and it’s worth giving him a shot. Hicks is a pretty good pitcher, but he doesn’t pitch deep into games and Marte will get to face the bullpen a couple times today after one or two at-bats against Hicks.

Carlos Correa, Twins (Yahoo - $11) – Correa is hot at the dish, going 8-14 (.571) with a double, FIVE RBI, and three runs scored over the past three games. Last season he posted a higher SLG against righties, but he hit .294 with a .398 OBP against lefties, compared to .274 and .348 against righties, respectively. He is off to a great start against southpaws this season too as he is currently slashing .308/.379/.423 against them through 29 plate appearances.

Jarred Kelenic, Mariners (Yahoo - $9, FanDuel - $2300) – Kelenic is only hitting .148 and he has a ton of games where he scores ZERO points, but he does have two dingers and three steals already. He has been a super volatile play this season, which makes him a great GPP play as he is super cheap and can have a huge game on any given day. Lefties were far more productive against Alcantara than righties were last season as they slashed .229/.290/.402, compared to .215/.265/.324.

Austin Hays, Orioles (DraftKings - $2800) – Hays is having a good season thus far as he is hitting .293 with a pair of dingers, seven doubles, and nine RBI. He is hot right now too, slashing .382/.447/.677 over his last nine games with two home runs and eight RBI. He has reverse splits thus far as all of his damage has come against righties as he is slashing .340/.421/.560 against them with two dingers, compared to .200/.286/.280 against southpaws.
