Tonight's 5-game main slate starts at 7:07 pm EST on both DraftKings and FanDuel. The top pitchers on the night are Logan Gilbert and Jesus Luzardo. Ronald Acuna Jr. and Mookie Betts will be the most expensive hitters on the card. Jon Impemba is on the playbook so be sure to give that a read and remember to check out all of our tools including the MLB Lineups page, MLB DFS Projections – powered by FanJections –  MLB DFS Ownership, and all of our tools HERE! Let’s dive into our favorite daily fantasy baseball value plays of the day.

MLB DFS Value Pitcher

Chris Bassitt, Toronto Blue Jays (DraftKings - $8,600, FanDuel - $9,500)

Chris Bassitt is in a great spot here against the Yankees who have struggled against righties for the entire season. They hold a league-low .221 batting average on the season, striking out at a 24% clip. Bassitt's flaw has been his struggles against lefties, but the Yankees don't carry much in that department. His only start against the Yankees was back in May where he went seven scoreless innings and it would not shock me to see him shut them down again.

MLB DFS Value Hitters

Jon Berti, 2B/SS, Miami Marlins (DraftKings - $3,000, FanDuel - $2,400)

Jon Berti has had three multi-hit games in his last four while riding a six-game hitting streak. On the year he holds a .342 wOBA and .115 ISO against left-handed arms and is matched against David Peterson who is allowing a .467 SLG to righties. Berti has gone yard three times in his last four games and with 15 steals on the year, we know he can get it done with his legs.

Brendan Rodgers, 2B, Colorado Rockies (DraftKings - $3,600, FanDuel - $2,900)

Brendan Rodgers has put up double-digit DK points five times over his last nine games. The Rockies are playing at home and his .390 batting average and 1.017 OPS over his last 10 games is very appealing. The Dodgers are starting southpaw Ryan Yarbrough which is not the best split for Rodgers, but he's typically only going four innings deep. It's a small slate so finding cheap exposure to Coors Field never hurts.

Jason Heyward, OF, Los Angeles Dodgers (DraftKings - $3,700, FanDuel - $3,100)

Over his last 10 games, Heyward is batting .324 with a home run and five doubles. In terms of fantasy production, he's been all-or-nothing, but he is in a great spot. Not only is he in Coors Field, but the Rockies are starting the abysmal Chris Flexen. Flexen has a 7.01 ERA on the year and getting cheap exposure against him is hard to pass on.
