Tonight’s MLB DFS coverage is for the 7-game main slate on DraftKings and FanDuel that starts at 7:07 pm ET. We do not have Coors Field on the slate, so you don’t have to worry about that when setting lineups. Starting pitching is headlined by Spencer Strider and Gerrit Cole, but there are a few other intriguing options as well at cheaper prices. We don’t have any mlb weather concerns today, which always makes for a more enjoyable experience. Henry is on the playbook today, make sure to give that a read, and don’t forget to check out the MLB Lineups page, Vegas Odds, and all of our MLB DFS Tools. Let’s dive into some of my favorite value options of the day and some we can fit into our cash and tournament lineups!

MLB DFS Value Pitchers

Matthew Liberatore, St. Louis Cardinals (DraftKings: $7,400)

Liberatore struggled at the MLB level last year, but he is still a high-end prospect and he has pitched well at the AAA level this year with a 3.13 ERA and 56 strikeouts across 46 innings of work. Tonight he faces the Brewers who have BY FAR the highest strikeout rate against lefties this season at an absurd mark of 30.7-percent. The Brewers are bottom-10 in scoring on the road this year too, averaging just 4.00 runs per game.

Brayan Bello, Boston Red Sox (DraftKings: $5,700)

Bello has found a groove, rattling off three straight starts with at least 17.1 dk points. This is a good matchup too; the Mariners have the highest overall strikeout rate in the league this year at a 25.6-percent. They are a decent 14th in the league in runs per game, but not overly terrifying, overall a good matchup for opposing pitchers this year.

MLB DFS Value Hitters

Matt Mervis, 1B, Chicago Cubs (DraftKings: $2,300 / FanDuel: $2,300)

Mervis had everyone excited when he was called up, but he didn’t come out of the gates doing much of anything. However, he appears to be getting more comfortable as he hit his first big league home run yesterday and is now 4-8 over his last two games. J.P. France has pitched well for the Astros thus far, but I’ll take my chances on Mervis in this matchup and at this price tag.

Mark Vientos, 1B/3B, New York Mets (DraftKings: $2,000 / FanDuel: NA *face palm*)

Vientos is being called up and he was performing at insane level at AAA this season with a 1.104 OPS, 13 home runs, 37 RBI, and 26 runs scored across 38 games. His power is legit and with the groove that he is in, I wouldn’t be shocked to see a minimum priced bomb out of him tonight in his season debut. The Mets are facing a low-tier lefty in Josh Fleming, which is even better news for Vientos (righties have a .787 OPS against Fleming this year, compared to the .522 mark lefties have produced).

Luis Robert Jr, OF, Chicago White Sox (DraftKings: $3,800)

Umm hello DraftKings? What is this price? FanDuel has him priced up as one of the high-end OF plays, but DK has him as a mid-tier play. Robert has homered in FOUR straight games and has three multi-hit games in that span. Over his last 13 games he is hitting .413 with SEVEN dingers and 32! Total R/RBI. I mean there is simply nobody hotter right now, so this price is just flat-out silliness.
