Today’s MLB DFS coverage is for the big 11-game main slate that starts at 1:35 pm ET on both DraftKings and FanDuel. Starting pitching is headlined by Zac Gallen and Tyler Glasnow. We do not have Coors Field on the slate, so you don’t have to keep that in mind when setting lineups. Ronald Acuna Jr. is the most expensive hitter on both sites, while his teammate, Matt Olson, is also priced in the top-three. Henry Wilson is on the playbook today, be sure to give that a read, and don’t forget to check out the MLB Lineups page, Vegas Odds, and all of our MLB DFS Tools. Let’s dive into some of my favorite MLB DFS value options of the day and some we can fit into our cash and tournament lineups!

MLB DFS Value Pitcher

Andrew Heaney, Texas Rangers (DraftKings: $7,800)

Heaney was a top play for me in his last start (I was on playbook that day) and he delivered in a HUGE way with his best outing of the season, firing six shutout innings with 11 strikeouts and picked up the win to finish with 38.3 DK points. I do not expect that high of a total again today, but I do like the fact that he is facing the Marlins. If he can give us another 17+ point game at this price, I would take that all day.

MLB DFS Value Hitters

Brendan Rodgers, 2B, Colorado Rockies (DraftKings: $2,700 / FanDuel: $2,800)

Rodgers appears to be getting it going a bit with a multi-hit game yesterday, and now 3-for-8 with a walk, and one RBI over his last two games. He has always hit lefties better than he hits righties and today he is facing a pair of terrible lefties in Zack Thompson and John King. Thompson has a 4.77 ERA and 1.77 WHIP through 17 innings this season, and King has a 5.49 ERA and 1.58 WHIP through 19.2 innings this season.

Tyler O’Neill, OF, St. Louis Cardinals (DraftKings: $3,500 / FanDuel: $2,600)

O’Neill is cooking right now, hitting .333 with a 1.051 OPS and three home runs over his last ten games. He has scored double-digit DK points in three of his past four and five of his past eight. He has been FAR better at home this year too, hitting .282 with a .853 OPS, compared to a .229 average and .636 OPS on the road. He is facing Austin Gomber, who comes into this game with a 5.68 ERA and 1.44 WHIP on the year.

Dairon Blanco, OF, Kansas City Royals (DraftKings: $2,100 / FanDuel: $2,300)

Speed, speed, and more speed. Blanco has FIVE steals over his last 17 at-bats and has 12 steals across just 73 at-bats this season. He is also hitting .294 over his last ten games, so he is in a bit of a groove right now. Taijuan Walker and J.T. Realmuto are not the easiest of combos to steal against, but he did just have three steals on Realmuto just two days ago. If he is in the starting lineup, I’ll take my chances at a near minimum price.
