Yoshinobu Yamamoto Underdog MLB Pick - Lower Than 18.5 Pitching Outs

Yamamoto has been spectacular for the Dodgers in the postseason, posting a 1.83 ERA and 0.86 WHIP across 19.2 IP of work (three starts). He also finds himself on the better side of his home/road splits, as he’s been dominant on the road for essentially all of 2025.

However, this will be Yamamoto’s tallest task yet, as he’s going to be in a raucous environment facing an offense that has slashed .291/.348/.513 against RHP during the postseason. Furthermore, only one starting pitcher has surpassed this line against Toronto (Cam Schlittler), and only two (Schlittler, Bryce Miller) have even completed 6.0 IP against the Blue Jays in the postseason.

After the Game 1 blowout, the Dodgers have the full bullpen at their disposal, so there might not be as much of a reliance on Yamamoto to work deep into this one.

 

 

 

Kevin Gausman Underdog MLB Pick - Lower Than 5.5 Strikeouts

Gausman has a solid 2.00 ERA and 1.06 WHIP in four postseason appearances, but he has just 12 strikeouts across 18 IP, which comes out to a 6.0 K/9.
