We do have to worry about a quick hook from John Schneider, but Yesavage has been nothing short of extraordinary since his promotion. Logan Gilbert Underdog MLB Pick - Higher Than 1.5 Earned Runs

I thought Seattle might look to Gilbert in Game 3, but he’s going to pitch in Game 2 instead, which is interesting, considering he threw 85 pitches on October 7th, and then 34 pitches in 2 IP of relief on October 10. Could some fatigue be in store for Gilbert?

Any fatigue that reduces effectiveness for Gilbert is not ideal against this Toronto offense, which has been solid against RHP all year long, and there are some notable BvP numbers in this lineup against Gilbert. His lone start against the Blue Jays this season (April 19) was a mixed bag, as he racked up nine strikeouts in just 4.2 IP, but he did allow seven hits.

Furthermore, away from home in the regular season, Gilbert surrendered a 4.74 ERA, 1.32 WHIP, and his 4.33 FIP was nearly two full runs higher than his home mark (2.45). I expect the Rogers Centre to be raucous tonight, and the Blue Jays come out swinging early, en route to a Game 2 win.
