Looking for the best Underdog Fantasy MLB picks today? Our Underdog MLB Pick'em predictions for Sunday, April 19, 2026, spotlight two MLB player props worth targeting on today’s action-packed MLB slate. The hits + runs + RBI line for Nico Hoerner and Freddie Freeman’s total bases both come with clear situational edges backed by current form, matchup data, and recent trends.

If you are building your Underdog Pick'em entry for tonight's MLB slate, here is the full case for where we land on both and why the numbers set up the way they do.

What are the Best Underdog MLB Pick'em Picks Today?

Today’s two best Underdog Fantasy MLB Pick'em plays are Nico Hoerner higher than 1.5 Hits+Runs+RBI and Freddie Freeman higher than 1.5 total bases. Both props are supported by matchup data, current streaks, and favorable line construction heading into an action-packed day of baseball. Read below for the complete analysis on each.

Nico Hoerner HIGHER than 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI

Hoerner has multiple hits in three of his last four, and in four of his last six! He also has an impressive 10 RBI across his last four games, along with two home runs and four runs scored. He’s seeing the ball well to say the least, and across his last 10 games (49 plate appearances), he’s sporting a .362 average, .596 SLG, .433 wOBA and 176 wRC+.

Tobias Myers will toe the rubber for New York in what will be his first start of the season. Through a handful of relief appearances in 2026, he’s shown some reverse splits (.273 AVG & .455 SLG vs. RHH), which should behoove the right-handed Hoerner.

Some weather concerns in the area, but the game should play, and Hoerner should keep the good times rolling.

Freddie Freeman HIGHER than 1.5 Total Bases

Freddie Freeman at Coors Field against a righty who has struggled with left-handers in 2026? Where do I sign? The veteran slugger has posted an .889 OPS and .246 ISO against righties this season, and after a somewhat slow start, he’s heating up at the dish. He’s hitting .385 over his last seven games, and I love his matchup against Colorado’s Michael Lorenzen.

If Lorenzen’s issues with lefties this season continue, he’s in for a rude awakening against the Dodgers and Freeman. Through a handful of starts, Lorenzen has served the ball on a silver platter for lefties, to the tune of an .800 SLG, .522 wOBA, and, get ready for this, 3.86 HR/9!

We don’t have the wind blowing out at Coors today unfortunately, but it’s still a great environment for hitters, and I’m expecting a productive day for Freeman (and the Dodgers).

UPDATE: Freddie Freeman was placed on the paternity list. If looking for another prop later in the day, check out Austin Riley over 1.5 hits+runs+RBI.
