Wednesday's top two Underdog plays come from elimination-day Division Series games, with an elite strikeout arm riding a four-start run of seven-plus strikeouts and a finesse righty facing a lineup that has become much more strikeout-prone, for Underdog Fantasy. Tyler Glasnow MLB Underdog Fantasy Pick: Higher than 6.5 Strikeouts

Glasnow has struck out seven or more in each of his last four starts, including 10 against San Francisco and 11 in his final tune-up, when he carried a no-hit bid into the sixth inning. He owns a 34.0 percent strikeout rate and 11.9 K/9, and the over has hit in eight of his last 10 outings. Atlanta's strikeout rate against right-handed pitching is a modest 21.9 percent for the season, but the Braves are hitting .219 in the NLDS and struck out 12 times against Yoshinobu Yamamoto in Game 3. He is expected to be used as a conventional starter this postseason, and even his four-inning outing against Miami produced seven strikeouts.

Nick Martinez MLB Underdog Fantasy Pick: Higher than 3.5 Strikeouts

New York's strikeout rate against right-handed pitching has climbed to 28.9 percent over the last two weeks, up from 24.3 percent for the season, the highest recent number on the board. Martinez has 109 strikeouts across 180 innings, about 3.5 per start, so this line sits right at his average. He started hot in all three outings against New York this season and has pitched well twice at Yankee Stadium. A rested Rays bullpen could mean a quick hook, but he only needs four punchouts against a lineup that has been whiffing more.
