The month of August has been quite great for Bryson Stott as he’s finally broken out and now has a fantastic matchup against Jake Irvin. Irvin has struggled mightily against left-handed batters allowing a .252 ISO, .279 xISO, .380 wOBA, and .406 xwOBA. In August, Stott has slashed .365/.433/.615 with a .250 ISO, and .442 wOBA. Stott has been much better against righties this year posting a .156 ISO and .327 wOBA. This is a fantastic spot for Stott and it’s one of my favorite Underdog Fantasy MLB Picks of the day.

 

 

 

Colton Cowser MLB Underdog Fantasy Pick: Higher Than 1.5 Hits+Runs+RBIs (1.05x)

The return of Spencer Arrighetti has not gone as planned and it doesn’t project to get better. He has a 6.94 ERA, 5.67 xERA, 5.59 xFIP, 5.32 SIERA, and 5.79 BB/9. He struggles with left-handed batters specifically allowing a .216 ISO, .208 xISO, .373 wOBA, and .391 xwOBA. Cowser has homered in back-to-back games and has really started turning up since coming off of the injured list. He’s gone over this in four straight games and has feasted off righties. He has a .221 ISO, .225 xISO, .322 wOBA, and .333 xwOBA.
