This is the final time we will be discussing Fantasy Baseball 2026 Two-Start Pitchers as the season winds down and the MLB prepares for postseason action. It is fortunate that there are a number of dual-start pitchers to consider using as your fantasy squads compete for that league championship, so take a look below and perhaps find those final starts that will push your team(s) toward the league trophy.

There are also a significant number of Fantasy Baseball 2026 Streaming Starters to consider employing in your fantasy baseball rotations as the regular season runs toward its completion. Perhaps one or more of these streaming options will help you find the elusive goal of winning your league if you choose wisely. Note that there are options for each of the upcoming seven days of Week 26, a nice season-ending gift for fantasy managers.

Please realize that these articles feature the most recent rotation information available at the time they are written, but circumstances can change due to weather conditions, injuries, and general craziness with managers. If a pitcher listed here as having two starts ends up with one (or perhaps none) in the upcoming week, apologies, but this article is meant to provide analysis; it is up to the manager to set the lineups or rotations.

Without further ado, here are this week’s two start pitchers:

This group of pitching aces are the arms you are pleased to have gracing your rosters as you plug them in for their two starts in Week 26. Do not consider their venue or opponent; just let them do their magic for your fantasy baseball teams and reap the benefits.

Baz had a scare, taking a comebacker off his elbow in the game against the Mets at Citi Field. He was pulled from the contest after completing 4.0 IP and allowing three earned runs on seven hits and a pair of walks. He has a home game against the Blue Jays on tap to open Week 26, and then heads to Yankee Stadium to wind up his two-start week, and looks good to go for both those games as the medical tests came back negative following his early removal from the game in against the Mets.

Pallante coughed up eight runs to the visiting Giants (six earned) over 5.0 IP in his most recent trip to toe the rubber. That was a dramatic departure from his recent efforts on the hill, as he had posted a stellar 1.99 ERA and 1.16 WHIP over the prior seven outings leading up to that recent debacle against San Francisco. He will look to get back on track, and has two road contests on the schedule, fitting well into his road warrior performance overall in 2026. 

Soroka tossed 5.0 IP in his last outing against the visiting Marlin squad (80 pitches) as he stretches out after being sidelined with a shoulder problem in August. He allowed just two hits while striking out six over those frames, and has solidified his spot in the Diamondbacks' rotation. He does have two road games on the calendar for this coming week, not exactly his strong suit this season, but he should provide good strikeout results while dealing on the hill, and will rely on his control to keep his team in the game at Coors Field and Petco in San Diego.

Scott, despite tossing his third quality start (QS) of the season, took the loss at Yankee Stadium last Sunday. He collected seven Ks in a consecutive outing, not a surprise as he has been consistently striking out better than a hitter per inning over the course of the season in his 22 starts. In an odd scheduling scenario, he will be pitching at Nationals Park twice this coming week, but road games are not necessarily a negative situation for him given his home/road splits being fairly even this year.

Ober has allowed three or fewer earned tallies over his last five starts, racking up a steady 3.00 ERA during those 24.0 IP. The WHIP is a tad bloated (1.50) due to shaky control, evidenced by his 4.1 BB/9 rate over that series of contests, coupled with a generosity in base knocks being handed out at better than one per inning. The tougher matchup of Week 26 sees the Rangers come to Target Field, and that plays well as the Texas team is playing sub-.500 ball on the road, and the Giants are only slightly favored when at their home park based on their win-loss record.

Now is not the time to take chances with substandard SPs, especially for two starts in these final days of the 2026 season. Rather than take a chance on one of their bottom-tier starters, look instead to stream one or more of the hurlers discussed in the second portion of this article.

Potential Streaming Options for Week 26

There is no promise that each game day will provide a streaming option. First of all, the pitcher must be available in at least 50% of leagues to be a viable candidate to snag off the wire. Then, the pitchers discussed above are not included as they have a different sort of value, even though some might be available as free agents in your league. Plus, some days the matchups and/or venues just do not figure as positive enough factors to favor plugging the arm into your rotation, even for one start. Drew Anderson. Detroit Tigers vs. Washington Nationals

The converted reliever picked up a victory, his first since late July, by going 5.0 IP and holding the host Blue Jays scoreless on two hits, while striking out four Toronto hitters. The veteran right-hander is a good source of Ks, with his season-long 9.6 K/9 rate as evidence of that ability to miss bats on a consistent basis. He has also been much more effective when toeing the rubber at Comerica Park, so this contest plays to his strong suit.

Chris Bassitt. Baltimore Orioles vs. Toronto Blue Jays

The veteran hurler notched his second consecutive victory in tossing a QS against the host Mets. He has been effective of recent note, posting a useful 3.12 ERA over his last 17.1 IP, where he has also picked up Ks at a 8.8 K/9 rate. He gets to take on his former team at home in what projects to be his last start of the 2026 season, and he has been significantly more effective when toeing the slab at Oriole Park at Camden Yards this year.

Erick Fedde. Chicago White Sox @ Kansas City Royals

The veteran righty has been used as a bulk reliever and a traditional starter, but whatever his role, he has been effective while on the mound, racking up a superior 1.50 ERA and 1.00 WHIP over his most recent 24.0 IP for the Pale Hose. Aside from the excellent ratios, however, he is a sub-average K producer who could use a tweak or two to his control: 6.1 K/9, 3.2 BB/9 through 133.2 IP.

Jeffrey Springs. Athletics vs. Los Angeles Angels

The veteran southpaw was struggling in August, but has righted his ship over his two September outings, allowing just two earned runs over his 12.0 IP this month, and picking up a victory as well. He has a good matchup here, against the free-swinging Angels offense, where he should be able to produce some strikeouts.

Ryan Gusto,, Miami Marlins @ Chicago Cubs

The second-year righty has been pitching overall well during the last month and a half, posting a 3.09 ERA over his last nine starts, including a QS against the Dodgers on September 11^th, at home in Miami. He offers a below-average K rate (7.5 K/9 over his season-long 82.2 IP), and despite some recent control issues, he has been around the plate consistently this season. He does take his show on the road in this contest, and that is a concern, both based on his home/road splits and his team’s ability to win away from LoanDepot Park.

Tyler Phillips, Miami Marlins @ Chicago Cubs

Over his last dozen appearances, the third-year righty has been a useful fantasy asset, rolling out a 3.60 ERA and 1.26 WHIP with a 44:19 K/BB ratio over those 50.0 IP. Nothing extraordinary to crow about, just solid production from a SP that is readily available on the waiver wire if you were seeking a streaming option on a day when there are not many options available.

Andrew Alvarez, Washington Nationals vs. New York Mets

The 27-year-old southpaw has been superb over his last eight trips to the hill, rolling out a stellar 2.44 ERA and 0.97 WHIP over the course of those 44.1 IP, where he has also collected three QS, including his recent 7.0 IP one-hit shutout effort against the visiting Halos. He racked up a season-high eight Ks in that contest. He has a favorable matchup on tap with the last-place division rival Mets coming to visit Nationals Park.

Christian Scott, New York Mets @ Washington Nationals

Scott, despite tossing his third quality start (QS) of the season, took the loss at Yankee Stadium last Sunday. He collected seven Ks in a consecutive outing, not a surprise as he has been consistently striking out better than a hitter per inning over the course of the season in his 22 starts. Pitching on the road in the contest is not a negative, as shown by his home/road splits on the season.

Jonah Tong, New York Mets @ Washington Nationals

The rookie right-hander is coming off the first quality start of his MLB career, allowing just one earned run to the visiting Orioles while striking out six Baltimore hitters. His 2026 results are extremely limited, making projections difficult but his minor league career shows the ability to miss bats consistently and the Nationals are not exactly known for their patience at the plate, so if you are seeking a streaming option that has the possibility of strikeout production, the youngster is a possible choice.

Ryan Johnson, Los Angeles Angels @ Seattle Mariners

In eight appearances since the end of August, the 24-year-old right-hander has been fantastic, posting a superb 2.03 ERA and 1.08 WHIP over his most recent 44.1 IP. He has also recently picked up his K rate, collecting 18 strikeouts over his last 18.0 IP. This is a road game, but he handled the Mariners well in his last outing, collecting a quality start (QS) by holding the opponent to a single run over 6.0 IP, and he was effective when on the mound in Boston and Pittsburgh in the prior two outings, as well.

Robert Gasser, Milwaukee Brewers vs. St. Louis Cardinals

The third-year lefty gets to take the mound at home in this contest, where he has been decidedly more comfortable and effective this season. His last four starts, split evenly between the road and home, have seen him post a superior set of ratios, compiling a 2.33 ERA and 1.19 WHIP over those 19.1 IP. He has also been racking up the Ks, striking out 20 opponents over that stretch.

Dean Kremer, Minnesota Twins vs. Texas Rangers

Being able to take on the visiting Rangers at Target Field in this contest plays to the veteran righty’s strengths in terms of home/road splits this year. He has been sharp over his most recent games played in September and will look to keep dealing while on the hill here. He offers good strikeout potential, whiffing nearly a batter per frame over the course of this season (8.6 K/9 over his 77.1 IP).
