Logan Webb, San Francisco Giants

  • Higher than 30.5 Fantasy Score

Webb is in an interesting spot here today as some of the lines on his would suggest possible struggles but I just don't see it as Webb draws a matchup against a reeling Cincinnati Reds team. 

On the road this season Webb has been dreadful, posting a 5.92 ERA over five starts. At home however he has allowed just two total earned runs over 22.0 innings (0.82). In those three home starts he has finished with more than 30.5 fantasy points in each outing.

Webb is home today and faces a Reds lineup that on the season ranks 27th in wOBA, 30th in batting average and has the second highest strikeout rate against right-handed pitching this season. The strikeouts will be an added bonus here for Webb, who isn't know as a strikeout pitcher, but should have a higher strikeout ceiling given the matchup.

Ozzie Albies, Atlanta Braves

  • More than 1.5 Hits+Runs+RBI

We love using Albies when there is a lefty on the mound as the Braves infielder has been one of the more notorious southpaw mashers in the MLB since he arrived on the scene. 

Things are no different this season either as the Braves second basemen is hitting .321 with a .344 wOBA off left-handed pitchers this season. 

We also love the matchup against Jose Quintana, BvP truthers are going all in here today with Albies owning a .538 average (7-for-13) with two doubles, two home runs and an OPS of 1.725.

 

Marcus Semien, Texas Rangers

  • More than 2.5 Hits+Runs+RBI

We had to get our Coors Field exposure somewhere so why not with the Rangers leadoff hitter here tonight? Semien is on fire right now, coming off a series against the Athletics where he had 10 hits, two homers, seven runs scored and six RBI. 

He heads into Coors Field tonight facing lefty Auston Gomber. Against southpaws this season Semien is hitting .340 with a .220 ISO and a .401 wOBA.

The Rangers have the highest implied team run total today and we should be expecting one of their best hitters to be a reason for that expected production.
