MLB Weather Updates

For a short slate the only game with some weather concerns could be the Marlins vs Mets matchup. Some rain in the area that could impact later innings but at least nothing now that would cause any major concerns. 

DFS Lineup Construction Thoughts

Small slates mean high rostership. We have some favorable stacks tonight with the Dodgers in Coors Field leading the way. Pitching will be interesting as nobody is really in “elite" spots.

Favorite Starters to Use for DFS Lineups

Jesus Luzardo, Miami Marlins

Yes, the Mets have some bats that hit for power against left-handed pitching but Luzardo is one of the biggest favorites on the board with the highest projected strikeout total of the slate.  In one start against the Mets this season Luzardo tossed 5.2 shutotut innings with five strikeouts.

Chris Bassitt, Toronto Blue Jays

We love right-handed pitching against the Yankees this season and Bassitt has put together some ceiling games this year. Lefty bats are the ones that have given Bassitt trouble this year but the Yankees don't really have any threatening hitters from the left side of the plate. 

Jordan Montgomery, Texas Rangers

The Rangers are heavy favorites in Vegas tonight so the win equity for Montgomery is very appealing. Yes, the Mariners do have some guys that hit left-handed pitching, on a whole this season we've had success using southpaws in this matchup.

J.D. Martinez, Los Angeles Dodgers

He is on the cover of the playbook so he makes an appearance here. We will be heavy on the Dodgers where we can tonight as Chris Flexen is not going to be on the mound for a long time but it should be a fun time for our lineups. Martinez is hitting .368 with a 1.247 OPS over the last 10 games with five homers.

Seiya Suzuki, Chicago Cubs

He's on the cover of the livestream and podcast today. Seiya is one of the hottest hitters on the Cubs right now, batting .333 with an OPS of 1.025 over the last 10 games. We like the Cubs here today in this matchup against the Braves and Seiya ill be a core part of our lineups at his price tag.
