MLB Weather Updates

We could see a delayed start in Houston/Kansas City but this game is expected to play based off the latest reports.

DFS Lineup Construction Thoughts

We have a 10 game slate here with some pretty obvious builds that should get some decent ownership. I'm not going to shy away from the chalk plays which likely center around the matchup in Coors Field and Pablo Lopez chalk matchup against the Chicago White Sox on this slate but I will look to find ways to be different while still having the chalk plays in my lineups.

Pablo Lopez, Minnesota Twins

Elite strikeout pitcher coming off of a 14 strikeout outing faces a team with one of the highest strikeout rates in baseball against right-handed pitching. He is expensive but very much worth the price tag. If you play on FanDuel tonight he is my go to SP1.

Grayson Rodriguez, Baltimore Orioles

While the O's bats have their hands full tonight against Tyler Glasnow I still like Rodriguez here in the mid-tier. He has some decent strikeout upside and Rodriguez has been pretty good over his last 10 starts, posting a 2.95 ERA while 54Ks over 58 innings. In two starts agianst the Rays this season he has a 3.18 ERA over 11.1 innings with 10 strikeouts.

Sawyer Gipson-Long, Detroit Tigers

The Angels season is wrapping up and in tumultuous fashion after Shohei Ohtani cleaned out his locker and the team placed him on season ending IR. Does this really impact the value of the pitcher against the Angels tonight? Probably not, but we liked what we saw from Gipson-Long in his debut and he has strikeout upside.

Corbin Carroll, Arizona Diamondbacks

I know the power has come and gone for Carroll at times but he also has made up for it in the stolen base department with six stolen bases over the last 10 games. Carroll is leading off again tonight against Kyle Hendricks who doesn't strike fear into anyone these days. I like the Diamondbacks rookie to have himself a night tonight against the Cubs.

Royce Lewis, Minnesota Twins

Another grand slam from Lewis last night now gives him five on the season and closing in on the single season record. Could he do it tonight? Sure, why not? The Twins hit a ton of home runs and Touki Toussaint has allowed eight homers over his last 10 starts while posting a 6.70 ERA.

Mitch Haniger, San Francisco Giants

I know the current form for Haniger isn't all that great here but he does get some lefties to face tonight in Coors Field and seeing as these two teams are expected to be the highest scoring teams on the slate we should be looking to get the exposure here tonight.

Michael Massey, Kansas City Royals

Massey has now homered in three straight games and the Royals offense could be in good position to do some damage tonight against J.P. France, especially the left-handed hitters who have given France troubles over his last five starts, owning a .391 wOBA and a .582 slugging percentage against him.

Note on Stacks Section

We have Coors Field on the slate. They are one of the top stacks overall, I listed stacks other than Coors Field as well.
