MLB DFS 10/23 - Welcome to today’s League Championship Series breakdown! Today’s slate is consistent across the board as DraftKings, Yahoo and FanDuel will all start at 2:37 pm ET and include both matchups. The Astros and Yankees do battle in Game 4 of the ALCS (Astros currently leading 3-0), while the Padres and Phillies move to Game 5 (Phillies currently leading 3-1). With being just a two game slate, things get a bit tricky and you have to find ways to mix and match plays. Unfortunately, both games appear to potentially have mlb weather concern issues, so make sure to check the weather center leading up to first pitch. Lastly, don’t forget to check out mlb implied runs totals using our Vegas Odds link and to use our mlb dfs lineup generator. Let’s dive into our mlb dfs picks today!

Philadelphia Phillies Top Plays:

Zack Wheeler – Wheeler had a great regular season and has been dominant in the postseason thus far.

Kyle Schwarber – Dingers in three of his past four and he is 4-11 (.364) with two bombs against Darvish.

Bryce Harper – He has just two hits in nine at-bats against Darvish, but both went over the wall.

Brandon Marsh – Marsh is kind of a “meh” play, but he does provide mega salary relief.

San Diego Padres Top Plays:

Yu Darvish – He has scored at least 14.1 dk points in 22 straight starts.

Josh Bell – He is cheap and a solid 8-29 (.276) against Wheeler with two home runs.

Jake Cronenworth – One of the hotter Padres bats right now, slashing .256/.293/.333 over his last 10.

New York Yankees Top Plays:

Nestor Cortes – He had a 2.03 ERA and 0.87 WHIP at home this year, compared to 3.06 and 1.05 on the road.

Giancarlo Stanton – Boom or bust play hoping for a home run and he’s 2-5 with a dinger against McCullers.

Harrison Bader – Bader already has four home runs this postseason and is still very cheap.

Jose Trevino / Kyle Higashioka – I don’t love the catchers today, but these two are the best punts.

Houston Astros Top Plays:

Yordan Alvarez – He is 2-4 (.500) with a home run against Cortes and was slightly better on the road this year.

Alex Bregman – Bregs is 3-6 (.500) with a home run against Cortes.

Jeremy Peña – Pena is slashing .326/.341/.674 over his last 10 games with four home runs.

Chas McCormick – Homers in two of his past three and slashing .333/.3438/.593 over his last 10.
