MLB Week 13 Injury Report Update: Pitchers
Michael King, San Diego Padres - Shoulder
King will be out at least through the All-Star break with his nerve issue.
Â
Â
Cole Ragans, Kansas City Royals - Shoulder
Ragans is shut down from throwing until early next month, and then he’ll be re-evaluated.
Aaron Nola, Philadelphia Phillies - Ankle/Rib
Nola was transferred to the 60-day injured list with his ankle and rib issues. He’s eligible to return July 14th.
Tony Gonsolin, Los Angeles Dodgers - Elbow
Gonsolin was shifted to the 60-day IL, and he’s been shut down from throwing. He’s eligible to return on August 4, but I’m skeptical we will see Gonsolin then.
Shota Imanaga, Chicago Cubs - Hamstring
Imanaga is scheduled to make a rehab start today at Triple-A. He worked up to 44 pitches in his last rehab start across four scoreless innings.
Max Scherzer, Toronto Blue Jays - Thumb
Scherzer has looked good thus far in his rehab outings, posting a 12:2 K/BB ratio across 8.2 IP. Barring any setbacks, he should take the rubber on Tuesday against Cleveland.

MLB Week 13 Injury Report Update: Hitters
Corbin Carroll, Arizona Diamondbacks - Hand
X-Rays came back negative on Carroll’s hand, and he’s considered day-to-day at this juncture.
Fernando Tatis, San Diego Padres - Hand
The series with L.A. got chippy to say the least, and Tatis took a pitch off his right hand. X-Rays came back negative, but the team is opting for a CT scan and MRI to determine the full extent of the situation.
Gabriel Moreno, Arizona Diamondbacks - Hand
Moreno was placed on the injured list with a hand contusion that’s been bothering him since earlier this month.
Mark Vientos, New York Mets - Hamstring
Vientos went 0-for-4 in his first rehab appearance (June 17). He hasn’t played since injuring his hamstring earlier this month.
Noelvi Marte, Cincinnati Reds - Oblique
Barring any setbacks this weekend, it’s expected that Marte will head out on a rehab assignment at some point next week. Marte was slashing .294/.342/5.15 with three home runs, 17 RBI, 10 runs scored, and 4 SB prior to the injury.
