We've reached the final days of Week 14 of the fantasy baseball season. Today's the day you start thinking about your fantasy baseball waiver wire claims for the upcoming week, check over the MLB injury reports to see what the latest injuries are, and find out if any more MLB prospects will be getting the call.  Be on the lookout for the updated fantasy baseball player rankings for July. Before we close out the week, let's take a look at some of the top performances from Friday and highlight my favorite MLB Best Bets and player props for Saturday's games!

Clayton Kershaw Falls Short Of History

For the second time this season there was magic in the air with Kershaw on the mound. The first one end in controversy with Kershaw being lifted after seven perfect innings and only 80 pitches in his first start of the season by Dave Roberts due to pitch count management. Fast-forward nearly three months to the day and Kershaw was at it again, taking a perfect game through 7.2 innings before giving up a double to Angels infielder Luis Rengifo. Kershaw finished with eight innings of one-run baseball. Over the last three starts, Kershaw has dominated, allowing just one run over 22.2 innings while striking out 24.

Ramón Urías Homers Twice, Check Your Waiver Wire

Orioles infielder Ramón Urías homered twice on Friday and now has three home runs over the past three games. A starting player this season, Urias has already set a new career high in home runs after hitting only seven in 85 games last season. Urias missed most of June due to injury but has been red hot since the start of July, hitting .387 with an OPS of 1.119 over the past 10 games. Urias was a decent player last year in his limited time, hitting .279 with an OPS of .774. If he is taking that next step now that he is getting regular playing time then he could be worth a look on the waiver wire if you need some infield help.

Sandy Alcantara Dominates in Loss

Don't let the box score fool you here. Sure, Alcantara allowed two earned runs and took the loss but he was nearly unhittable for the majority of this game before the Phillies finally broke through over the final innings. Alcantara allowed two runs on four hits over eight innings while striking out 12. Through three July starts Alcantara has allowed just two runs over 23 innings while striking out 26.

Saturday MLB Best Bets

Lance Lynn Under 4.5 Strikeouts

We are getting some plus-odds here with the OVER actually being the favorite here today but I'm not ready to bite quite yet when it comes to Lynn. He has not been very good since joining the rotation following his injury stint to begin the year. He just faced this same Twins team and finished with just four strikeouts after allowing five runs on six hits over five innings. In his most recent outing he was knocked out after four innings, finishing with just three strikeouts. Lynn has gone under today's total in 50% of his starts this season and has just a 20% strikeout rate on the year. The Twins also haven't been striking out much, ranking just 25th in team strikeout rate over the past 30 days.

Sean Manaea Under 6.5 Strikeouts

Manaea has faced the Diamondbacks three times this season and hit the over one today's prop in two of those three starts with that said, I like the under here today. Over his last six starts Manaea has really struggled, posting a 4.68 ERA, allowing 17 runs on 31 hits over 32.2 innings. He's finished with fewer than 6.5 strikeouts in five of those six starts which includes one start against these Diamondbacks. Arizona is hitting left-handed pitching well and have a strikeout rate of just 18.5% over the past two weeks.
