Come man, give me another chance.

Today's Discounts:

  • P David Phelps Yankees ($4,700, 13.4% of cap at  Fan Duel - Play Now): I like Michael Wacha, who I own in almost every Dynasty league, but I feel the majority of other Daily League players are in love with Wacha today, so it is not necessarily the best strategy to choose a pitcher that will be highly owned in a night. My higher priced type value play, per se, would be Mike Minor, but if you want a deeper discounted option than consider Yankees David Phelps. You may be poo-pooing this recommendation, but the Indians  have the fourth highest number of strikeouts, as a team, versus right-handers in the American League and the Indians will be without Asdrubal Cabrera. I believe Phelps was still bothered by a minor injury in his last start from a line drive to his forearm two starts ago. He should be fine by now and at this price he could be a sneaky play, especially in larger GPP tournys. (Game Time: 7:05 pm est)
  • OF Chris Coghlan ($62,00, 6.2% of cap at Daily Joust - Play Now): You may see a few repeats today, not because I am lazy, as you know by now that is far from the truth, it is just that fournately for us some of the players I have recommended have come through for us, but their price tag has yet to catch up to their recent successes. Chris Coughlan is one of these guys, as he has at least one hit in every game since May 25th with five multi-hit games in those 10 starts. (Game Time 7:05 pm est)
  • OF Roger Bernadina Nationals ($7,350, 7.4% of cap at Draft Day - Play Now ): Bernadina gets the L/R match up versus Jeremy Hefner. Lefties are batting .327 with eight home runs off of Hefner. (Game Time: 7:05 pm est)
  • OF/1B Chris Parmalee Twins ($5,000,  8.3% of cap at Fan Throwdown - Play Now):  Chicken Parm, Eggplant Parm...now that your mouth is watering check out this Parm's career numbers off of Luis Mendoza: 4-for-5 with a home run and Parmlee is raking over his last seven games hitting .381 with two home runs. (Game Time: 10:10 pm est).
  • 1B Brandon Moss ($3,000, 8.6% of cap at  Fan Duel - Play Now) : Moss has been terrible of late, I know, but he has seven home runs versus right-handed pitching, game is in Miller Park, and will face Kyle Lohose who allowed four home runs to the Twins in his last outing. (Game Time 8:10 pm est)
  • 1B Adam Lind Blue Jays ($93,000, 9.3% of cap at Daily Joust - Play Now): L/R matchup vs. Tim Lincecum, and if that weren't enough, Lind has the second highest wOBA, the sixth highest slugging among first baseman the last 14 days, and his price tag has not caught up to his performance at Daily Joust, yet. On most other DFS Lind will cost you around 11% of your salary cap though. (Game Time: 10:15 pm est)
  • 2B Brian Dozier Twins ($6,596, 6.6% of cap at Draft Street - Play Now): Second most hits of any second baseman to start the month of June, 4-for-7 with a home run and a double good for a 1.143 SLG%. (Game time: 8:10 pm est).
  • SS Jed Lowrie Athletics ($2,900, 8.9% of cap at  Fan Duel - Play Now) Either I put the wrong price in yesterday at $3,100 or Lowrie's price dropped, but either way rolling with Lowrie again as he has eight hits in his last 13 at-bats and faces the struggling Kyle Lohse in hitter friendly Miller Park. (Game Time: 8:10 pm est).
  • 3B/2B/OF Mark DeRosa Blue Jays  ($3,600, 6.0% of cap at  Fan Throwdown - Play Now): DeRosa is 4 for his last 5  with a home run. (Game Time 10:15  pm est)
  • 3B Ed Lucas Marlins ($65,000, 6.5% of cap at Daily Joust - Play Now):  Lucas is 5-for-6 with a double and two walks in his last two games. (Game Time 7:05  pm est)
  • C Ryan Haningan Reds ($5,550, 5.6% of cap at Draft Day - Play Now): Was hoping Erik Kratz was in lineup again tonight, but we weren't so lucky. Haningan is batting seventh has a hit in six of last eight games and gets a favorable matchup in Juan Nicasio. (Game Time: 7:10)
  • Teams to stack:  Athletics vs Lohse, Orioles vs Lucas Harrell, Cardinals versus Skaggs, Reds vs Nicasio, and Ranger lefties vs. Ryan Dempster.
