Every Wednesday the Oracle Ray Flowers and I take some of the better and more interesting questions we are asked throughout the week and put them all together into one article we call the Fantasy Alarm Mailbag. Most of these questions are sent to us directly from the users of the Fantasy Alarm app which has a direct link into our response center. Unfortunately for you Ray and I are the response center.
Remember that if you want your question to appear in the Mailbag article please format it correctly and try not to call us names. Although name calling most likely will get your question into this article especially if it is explicit and demeaning.

Hey Mr. Mans
Just wondering if it is a bit excessive to pick up both West and Crowell to cover Ben Tate. I picked up Taliaferro from Baltimore and would have to drop him to make room. It’s a 12 team h2h PPR format.
Please help me!!
Thank you sir

Excessive is my middle name. Alright its really Poindexter but you get the point. The injury to Ben Tate is going to keep him out 2-3 weeks which basically covers the next two games and the bye week. As much as I do like the Browns RB situation it’s not worth keeping three of them on your roster especially through a bye week. Let somebody else waste their money on Crowell while you start Terrence West. Since you have so much depth at RB, Taliaferro is a perfect gamble for you right now. Please do not drop him especially until after seeing what the RB rotation in Baltimore looks like this Thursday against the Steelers.
I am hurting at running back. I have wide receivers Julio, Allen and Hurns. It's a two point PPR with a flex. I have three tight ends Travis Kelce, Dennis Pitta and Jimmy Graham. My running backs are MJD, Vereen, Forsett and West. Should I go with Crowell or somebody else and drop Kelce or someone else?

For starters, your question is all over the place here. I am putting it into my weekly mailbag article in order for people to see how to not ask a question…lol. What you are asking me here is whether you should drop Travis Kelce for Isaiah Crowell or if there is anybody else I would consider dropping Kelce (or anyone else!) for.
I think having Travis Kelce on your team is very wasteful. You already have two far superior TE’s in Jimmy Graham and Dennis Pitta. Kelce played just 19 snaps on Sunday and is a very unfavorable system there in Kansas City. I agree that you need RB help and that Kelce is the guy to drop. My advice would be to go after the following RB’s in order: Lorenzo Taliaferro, Chris Ivory, Ahmad Bradshaw & Benny Cunningham.
Help me set my lineup. 12 Team Non-PPR
3 running backs:
Monte Ball
Zach Stacy
Doug Martin
Rashad Jennings
Ryan Mathews
Lamar Miller
Carlos Hyde
Two Recievers:
Kenan Allen
Andre Johnson
Mike Wallace
Thanks! Love the site and show!

Why sure…it’s not like I have 11 of my own to set this week or anything! Kidding buddy. I appreciate the sentiments on the site and the show. Here is what I would do with this team in week two.
QB – Andy Dalton
RB1 – Monte Ball
RB2 – Rashad Jennings
RB3 – Doug Martin
WR1 – Andre Johnson
WR2 – Mike Wallace

@JFLBoss Asks: I really want to trade JaMaal Charles. Can you guys talk me out of it?
Jamaal Charles might be the absolute one person in all of fantasy football that you just cannot trade right now. You took him with one of your first pick in the draft and coming off such a miserable outing you won’t get anything close to that value in return right now. The art of making a successful trade is to trade a guy after he had a great week. That is much harder obviously and thus why only the best players can pull it off. Keep Charles and when he has a big week next week then you can shop him for a fair market value if you so choose.
@Munson1897 Asks: Should I drop Riley Cooper or Sammy Watkins to pick up Ahmad Bradshaw in a PPR league?
I wouldn’t drop Sammy Watkins for Bradshaw that is for sure. I may consider making this move only if you are in need of a RB that can contribute immediately. Bradshaw is far from a sure thing health wise so counting on him for anything after week six is not a good idea.
@Sabetschart73 Asks: In a full point PPR, which TE do you like best ROW: D. Allen, Gates (hamstring issue considered), or Clay?
I like Gates the rest of the way still though I am a big fan of Dwayne Allen. The difference for me is the experience of Gates and the nature of the Colts offense. Gates caught 77 passes and racked up 872 yards receiving last year both of which was more than Julius Thomas. Yet, people wanted to cast him off this year. Charles Clay is a bust this season in my opinion. It’s a new offense and not one that utilizes the TE in the ways that Clay was in the past.
