Medlen 2nd behind Cliff Lee with best K/bb rate 2nd half of 2012 (Hamels 11th best K/BB)
- Top 5 in K% 2nd Half of 2012, in order, Scherzer, Darvish, Shields, Medlen, Sale with Hamels ranked 9th (all with Whips close to, or below, Hamels).
- Top strike out pitchers for 2012 were in order: Scherzer, Darvish, and Gio (Hamels 8th)
