Yoshinobu Yamamoto Chalkboard Fantasy MLB Pick: More Than 2.5 Strikeouts (1.10x)
ANCHOR PICK -- Take the layup and use this anchor pick to lock in at least one leg of your pick ‘em parlay. Why not? The Cardinals aren’t a big strikeout team against righthanded pitching, but outside of his last outing against a tough Yankees team, Yamamoto hasn’t had fewer than four strikeouts in any other start this season. Just a nice way to tag a little extra value to your plays.

Â
Ketel Marte Chalkboard Fantasy MLB Pick: More Than 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI (1.57x)
Marte finds himself in a great spot today, facing Reds righthander Nick Martinez at Great American Smallpark. He’s hit safely in five of his last six games, has cleared this 1.5-HRR in all five and has a .509 wOBA against righthanded pitching. He’s absolutely dominant from the left side of the plate where Martinez is allowing a .339 wOBA. Martinez has struggled over his last couple of outings so we’ve got momentum on our side.

Â
Luis Castillo Chalkboard Fantasy MLB Pick: More Than 5.5 Strikeouts (1.56x)
Is it the irresistible force meeting the immovable object? Not at all. It’s Castillo coming off four-straight quality starts and averaging 5.5 strikeouts against an Angels team that owns the second-highest strikeout rate against righthanded pitching. The only team worse with the whiffs is Colorado which tells you how bad the situation is for Los Angeles. Let’s lock this one down quickly before books push it to 6.5.
Total Multiplier: 2.76x
