Zack Littell Chalkboard MLB Pick: Over 2.5 Earned Runs Allowed

I love this Brewers offense today against Littell. Littell has been bad this season, and really bad of late. For the year, he boasts a 7.85 ERA, 1.74 WHIP, and 4.08 HR/9. Yikes! Furthermore, over his last four starts, not only has he allowed at least three earned runs in each of those starts, but he’s also served up multiple home runs in each of those four outings! Left-handed hitters, in particular, have given Littell fits this season (.794 SLG, .501 wOBA), so that’s something I’ll be watching.

Despite not being the hottest offense of late, the Brewers are willing to take a walk, and Littell’s propensity to pitch with runners on base will keep him in dangerous spots all afternoon.

UPDATE: Littell isn’t starting. If wanting to input a new slip, look at Braxton Ashcraft over 5.5 Strikeouts.

 

 

 

Ozzie Albies Chalkboard MLB Pick: Over 1.5 Total Bases

Albies is hitting an astounding .407 during his 14-game hit streak, not to mention a .704 SLG! He’s been an XBH machine of late, recording at least two bases in five straight games and in eight of his last nine! He’s been phenomenal against left-handed pitching thus far in 2026, posting a 1.059 OPS, .291 ISO, and .453 wOBA.

Colorado’s Kyle Freeland will toe the rubber on Sunday, and while he’s been better than I expected to begin the year, some of the underlying metrics aren’t quite as nice as that sub-3.50 ERA on the year.

I’ll trust Albies against a lefty anyday, especially when that game is at Coors Field.
