Philadelphia Phillies vs. Cincinnati Reds Predictions: Thursday, July 9th

The Phillies high octane offense pulls into Great American Ballpark today as the Reds host this NL matchup. Jesus Luzardo will match up with Brady Singer in what is expected to be a higher scoring game looking at the game totals. 

Looking first at Brady Singer against the Phillies offense he can't feel great about this matchup. Singer has been bad against lefties this season allowing a .300 average and a .910 OPS. That puts a name like Kyle Schwarber on my radar as the lefty is hitting .286 with a .995 OPS and a pair of homers over the past six games. He should go over his hits/runs/RBIs prop today with those trends so that'll be the opening wager for me today. 

On the other end of the matchup Jesus Luzardo has been dominant since the start of June and this Reds lineup is struggling to avoid punchouts. Phillies have so much momentum right now as well so even on the road as favorites they are worth picking for tonight's game.
