Reds vs. Cardinals Predictions: Sunday, July 26th

As we hit over a week post All-Star break the bloom is off the rose right now for the Cardinals. They've tumbled down the standings losing 5 of their last 7 and the offense is nowhere to be found. Since the return from break the Cardinals as a team have an isolated power mark of .066 which is dead last in MLB. Their wOBA has also fallen to .269 which sets up Andrew Abbott well today.

Abbott in his four starts in July has a 3.86 ERA and has had his game under control overall for a couple months now. Today he will face a Cardinals lineup with no confidence and one that is not drawing walks. If Abbott gets in trouble its because he gives away free bases, that should be a minimal risk today. 

It'll likely be a lower scoring game given the pitching from Kyle Leahy on the Cardinals respectively but the Reds on the road have my backing today to win and continue the Cardinals woes.
