White Sox vs. Guardians Prediction: Thursday, October 8th
In what could be the final game of the Divisional series we have a repeat of Game 1 on the mound and similar lineups that we have seen all series long. Parker Messick will go for Cleveland, he went 4.2 innings and allowed a pair of earned runs before being ushered out. He will go against Hagen Smith for a inning of two as the lefty will be the opener for Chicago tonight.
As much as I want to pick a winner in this game the play is not on a side or even a total its on a player prop. With all the uncertainty the White Sox bring to their pitching strategy I will opt to wager on a man who is consistent against all opposition and that's Jose Ramirez. The man hit over .300 against the White Sox during the regular season and he blew Game 3 wide open with his two run triple yesterday. Maybe it just took a hostile crowd to get going but as a switch hitter who excels against left handed pitching (.287 with a .834 OPS). Expect him to grab a knock when it counts the most tonight and go over his hits/runs/RBIs prop on my only wager of the day!
Expert MLB Picks:
- Jose Ramirez (CLE) Over 1.5 Hits/Runs/RBIs (-115 on DraftKings)
