Chandler Simpson, Tampa Bay Rays (+279)

Lefty bats are definitely getting the better of Cal Quantrill, which puts Simpson into a great spot today as he is posting a .360 OBP, a .345 BABIP, and 30 stolen bases against right-handed pitching this season. Strong numbers for a guy who is just considered a burner. Texas catcher Elias Diaz has a 26-percent caught-stealing rate, so with that below-average mark and Simpson’s sprint speed, we’ll lock it down for today.

Sam Antonacci, Chicago White Sox (+433)

While Hunter Brown has allowed just 12 stolen bases this season, you have to look deeper into the numbers and look at his innings pitched on the season. Proportionally, that number would be in the 20s had he pitched the whole season. So we’ll pick on him as he allows a .326 wOBA to lefties while Antonacci boasts a strong .370 OBP with 14 stolen bases against right-handed pitching. With Astros catcher Yainer Diaz throwing out just 21-percent of runners, we like this bet.
