Dillon Dingler (+413)

His name sounds close enough to dinger, so why not start here? It would be nice if it was that easy, but let’s get deeper into it. Dingler has the luxury of hitting in the Great American Ball Park, which is perfect for MLB home run picks. It’s considered the best for the long ball, so we find the name to be fitting.

Dingler’s got five homers on the year and is facing a struggling lefty in Andrew Abbott. Across his last two starts alone, Abbott’s allowed 11 runs (10 earned) and has only been able to last 3.0 and 4.2 innings. Today, it’s blowing out, and even without that factor, we’ve got Miles Mikolas on the mound for the Washington Nationals. In other words, reason enough to add to our MLB home run picks here.

Murakami is the “square” play here, but we want to get you some better value. Benintendi isn’t Aaron Judge, but he’s a lefty who gets to face a struggling Mikolas.
