Friday’s LPL and LCK PrizePicks features an undervalued OMG, and a GenG who are playing against a fledgling T1, and are likely to triumph. Furthermore, it’s likely FPX will absolutely demolish LGD, who will be incapable of leverage the strength of their mid-jungle against the solid FPX roster.
PrizePicks Prop Selections
LGD Gaming v FunPlus Phoenix
Kramer (LGD) - Projected Kills: 5.5 - UNDER
Kramer’s opponents in Lwx and Crisp are likely too much to handle, his carries in Xiye and Shad0w are already encumbered by the strong 2v2 of FPX, and what was already a weak bottom lane crumbles without the assistance of their top side of the map. Furthermore, fearness is a consistently weak top laner which is the achilles heel of LGD alongside their underwhelming bottom lane.
LGD Gaming v FunPlus Phoenix
Fearness (LGD) - Projected Kills: 4.5 - UNDER
Back to back, Fearness has a bit of an advantage since he gets to play against Xiaolaohu, a complete rookie in for FPX. Unfortunately in spite of this, I don’t see LGD playing to top lane- fearness just isn’t that remarkable of a top laner and usually goes soft losing into most even match-ups. He’s given little to no resources, and is just “there” much of the time for LGD; taking a back seat to their strong mid and jungle. Alongside this, I have high hopes for Xiaolaohu, FPX’s top lane selection for Friday.
GenG v T1
Bdd (GenG) - Projected Kills: 5.5 - OVER
I can’t hate on Faker, but Bdd has been putting in work for GenG, the entire team looks solid despite a loss to a revived Damwon KIA. GenG’s top side is the biggest advantage they have over T1, and GenG’s teamfight oriented style is sure to provide Bdd with sufficient fodder to rack up his kill projection. GenG are likely to stay on top for a while, until they slip up or face Damwon KIA a second time.
