Thursday’s LPL and LCK features an assortment of teams, chiefly amongst them is the upper tier Top Esports against the dead last Victory 5, and likewise with the relatively decent Fredit BRION versus DRX. Rare Atom versus Thundertalk is another one sided match-up worth looking into, also.

Kingen (DRX) - Projected Kills: 4.5 - UNDER

DRX being a bottom placed team may be switched up by the entry of their new bottom lane, but their solo laners are still the worst in the league. Hoya occasionally has the bad game or two still, but overall he’s improved greatly from spring. Kingen is likely to be left out to dry on DRX against BRO, and I expect Hoya to show up relatively big both in lane and in teamfights- I can’t see DRX getting over 5 kills in the entire series, much less just on Kingen alone.

Chovy (HLE) - Projected Kills: 5.5 - OVER

I think HLE is back for real this time. Subbing in Arthur finally has given them some sort of new life, and they dismantled 2nd place Nongshim just a few days prior. Chovy shouldn’t be challenged by the Blank+Dove 2v2, although the latter player was a decent standout for the KT squad. Chovy will forever be the “best” mid laner, even if his teams on last place and he looks completely dead, he still has the chance for greatness, and this season is no different.

SamD (TT) - Projected Kills: 4.5 - UNDER

I will say it: SamD is the overall worst ADC in the LPL, and it’s even worse that he’s not even a domestic player, he’s an import from Korea. No support, between Patch, Teeen, or Pudding looks good at all alongside him, and he’s playing against an upper tier bottom lane in Jackeylove and Zhuo, who look to be on a hot streak too. TT is a low tier team without much upside aside from jungler Xiaopeng, and bottom lane is chiefly amongst their weaknesses.
