LPL/LCK Thursday

Liiv SANDBOX v GEN.G

Ultra Prime v Royal Never Give Up

Afreeca Freecs v T1

BiliBili Gaming v Rare Atom

Thursday has some good matchups and some that fall to chalk, but is an overall entertaining lineup. RNG looks to continue their winning ways against UP while Rare Atom tries to get back on track. In the LCK GenG looks to strengthen their hold on first place while T1 tries to put space between themselves and AF.

Captain

Gala ($12,300)

Gala is in for a phenomenal day against the UP bot lane, and should be rewarded with your captaincy spot. After failing me last time I picked him, I am ignoring my better judgement (and George Costanza) and recommending iBoy at the alternate spot. Choose your captain to set the tone for which stack you want.

Alternatives to consider: iBoy ($11,100)

Top Lane

Xiaohu ($7,000)

Now a star in the top lane, Xiaohu has been a high impact top laner. The man knows how not to die while racking up kills, and should be a great addition to any fantasy roster.

Alternatives to consider: Cube ($6,000)

Jungle

Wei ($7,400)

In the jungle, Wei has always been a force. Clid will also be a good pick, but Wei will be a crucial piece to any RNG stack. If you're looking to stack on GENG go with Clid otherwise Wei is the stronger overall pick.

Alternatives to consider: Clid ($6,800)

Mid Lane

FoFo ($7,200)

He's been okay in losses and wins, but the star mid laner needs to be put on more aggressive picks to have high kill games. Against ThunderTalk he went 3/0/5 as Akali while earlier in the month he went 8/0/6 on everyone's favorite dart thrower. Hopefully he can get some good picks in this draft otherwise we might see him on control mages.

Alternatives to consider: Faker ($7,400)

ADC

Ruler ($7,200)

On Saturday Ruler went 16/6/15 with the team's highest amount of kill, but lowest kill participation rate. He's been consistent series to series with great performances on a wide variety of traditional ADCs. Otherwise Prince had a solid sweep against DRX, but I really like Ruler in this slate.

Alternatives to consider: Prince ($6,800)

Support

Ming ($6,000)

Last Thursday Ming did have a team low in kill participation, but he has been efficient over the whole split. Against UP he should be in the line for a lot of assists otherwise Life is a great budget alternative.

Alternatives to consider: Life ($5,000)

Team

Royal Never Give Up ($5,800)

RNG are not the best team playing, but they have the strongest matchup available on the slate. Unfortunately, you are probably going to have to pick the budget pick BBG who are a complete coinflip against Rare Atom.

Alternatives to consider: BiliBili Gaming ($4,800)
