Tuesday’s LPL features a weak Thundertalk against a solid Bilibili Gaming, with a massive bottom side discrepancy between the teams. LNG Esports and Team WE match-up in what is likely to be a bloody contest for the upper spots of the LPL.
PrizePicks Prop Selections:
ThunderTalk v Bilibili Gaming
Xiaopeng (TT) - Projected Kills: 6.5 - UNDER
Xiaopeng is the shining light in the dark cave that is ThunderTalk. Despite losing nearly every single game, Xiaopeng is usually capable of delivering some solid performances, particularly on the aggressive early game junglers such as Lee sin. Against a team with a more Korean style like BLG, however, I can’t see Xiaopeng snowballing as hard- the Korean style teams are much more cautious and careful throughout the early game, which will likely limit the pace Xiaopeng is capable of playing at.
LNG Esports v Team WE
Ale (LNG) - Projected Kills: 6.5 - OVER
LNG has been called “The story of Ale” for a good reason; he’s an overlooked player, surrounded by Tarzan, Iwandy, and Light- but the top laner has delivered some unbelievably strong performances this split, and while Breathe is an alright top laner, I think he’s the weak point of WE, and is often exploited by more capable top sides. Ale and Tarzan are more complete than Breathe and Beishang, and I think the LNG squad is likely to run over WE, despite it being a bloody contest for sure.
ThunderTalk v Bilibili Gaming
SamD (TT) - Projected Kills: 4.5 - UNDER
I’ll be blunt: TT’s ADC SamD is absolute garbage. I can give him the benefit of the doubt and say it’s just his support(s) being horrendous, but he is truly a liability game after game, and it’s more than likely both of their faults. BLG’s big strong lane is in their bottom lane, and they actively play for Aiming’s success. I’d be astonished if SamD broke this margin, since it’s very often for him to finish games with 0 kills at all- I genuinely cannot think of a worse ADC in the LPL aside from SamD.
