We saw some amazing games on Friday, including G2 looking back in their normal form. Team Vitality with their new additions looked exciting while Fnatic’s changes seem less impactful. Who are the players that are going to continue to rise? Who is bouncing back on Saturday? Let’s dive in!

Fantasy Value Breakdown
Captain
Favorite: Caps (G2: $11,400) And here is the return of the European kings. The MAD Lions were the unfortunate recipients to the rage of G2 and Caps reminded everyone how much he should be feared. He went 6-1-8 on Syndra and kept Humanoid completely in check for the entire game. While G2 has struggled with S04 in the past, this version of the squad just feels so overwhelming on paper. I really think the only threat is in the top lane (BrokenBlade) and won’t be enough firepower to beat G2.
Value Pick: LIDER (VIT: $8,400)
Top Lane
Favorite: Armut (MAD: $7,000) Now that the rough game for the weekend is done, MAD Lions can flex what they have taken from their time at MSI. I actually have a good feeling about this team this split. Armut can play really aggressive champions and had the second most kills among top laners (53) in Spring. I want to see Armut on the picks like Viego and Gwen to see how much weight he can carry for MAD Lions. If Armut gets ahead against the LEC rookie, Adam, MAD Lions should run away with this game.
Value Pick: Whiteknight (AST: $6,000)
Jungle
Favorite: Razork (MSF: $7,200) Razork really showed an interesting side to his game on Friday against Fnatic. In most games where he pulls down good scores, he has to get out to an early start. But against FNC, Razork seemed to make really slow plays and looked like he was going to be outpaced by Bwipo on the Rumble pick. What transpired was Razork and Misfits playing calmly and out maneuvered FNC as he went 3-5-12 to close out the game. SK Gaming looked really slow and another role swap jungler (Treatz) was forgettable on Friday. Give me the run back here.
Value Pick: Selfmade (VIT: $6,000)
Mid Lane
Favorite: Larssen (RGE: $7,800) Larssen had a really quiet match against XL going 0-1-6 on his Jayce pick. This is not alarming, especially if you watched how much Rogue dismantled XL while XL refused to actually fight. Team Vitality will not be as passive in their approach and we should see Larssen have more opportunities to fight. This will be a big challenge into LIDER who loves more aggressive picks, so we will have to keep an eye out for this match up. I think there could be a good chance we see Larssen on a control mage which would be great for you not losing points on this pick. Larssen just doesn’t die on control mage picks.
Value Pick: Twohoyrz (SK: $5,800)
ADC
Favorite: Rekkles (G2: $8,200) A lot like the Caps pick, Rekkles is on a revenge tour. This is a bit riskier in terms of play style though, which is why I did not pick him for captain. Rekkles has always been willing to be sacrificed during the early game and will show up in the late game. Rekkles picked up 3 kills against the MAD Lions but had 7 assists with no deaths. These score lines are so consistent from game to game which makes him worth the massive salary because you know you are going to be about 30+ points each slate.
Value Pick: Jeskla (AST: $6,800)
Support
Favorite: Kaiser (MAD: $6,200) There are slates where I have won and picked Kaiser as captain. And it is not because of how many points a support can pick up but instead of how much of an influence Kaiser can make on a match. Even in his loss to G2 on Friday Kaiser had 100% kill participation with 6 assists and only 2 deaths (of 17 total). MAD are playing Fnatic and their support Hylissang had a rough Friday match. Hyli had 5 deaths alone and he is prone to dying in really questionable ways. Kaiser and Elyoya will capitalize on this and can pull down big numbers.
Value Pick: Mikyx (G2: $5,400)
Team
Favorite: MAD Lions ($5,200) There are about three teams (Rogue, MAD, and G2) you could pick here but I think tomorrow will be the defending champs time to shine. Fnatic showed a scrappiness but also a complete lack of macro game sense. So much so I think there will be more significant shifts in rosters at the end of the year. With this lack of focus, there is every opportunity for the more refined MAD LIons to take objectives away from this team. Note that the MAD Lions took DWG to a full 5 games at MSI. Don’t let their loss to G2 make you forget how potent this team actually is.
Value Pick: Misfits ($4,800)
