We are into the final week of League of Legends European play for the Summer Split and things could not be tighter! Only one LEC team has locked in a spot in the playoffs (MAD Lions at 10-5) and only one team has been eliminated thus far (Team BDS at 2-13). If the split ended today, two Spring Split Playoff teams would miss the cut (Excel Esports and Fnatic) for the summer. You can build League of Legends DFS lineups on DraftKings for Friday with the slate beginning at 12 pm ET. Make sure you get those eSports daily fantasy lineups in before the matches get underway! Just like in the LCS, the super weekend turns up the pressure on teams to deliver day in and day out since only six squads will make the cut. So, let’s dive into the eSports DFS top plays for Friday's League of Legends LEC action!

League of Legends DFS Breakdown

Game #1: BDS Esport vs. Misfits

Game Breakdown: An open and shut match here. Misfits have the better players (their solo lnes especially) and that is really all they are going to need to win this matchup. I fully expect for BDS to blow up this team at the end of the split and look to find more polished pieces.

Favorite Picks: Vetheo (MSF: $12,000/$8,000), Irrelevant (MSF: $6,800), Zanzarah (MSF: $7,000)

Value Picks: Limit (BDS: $4,800)

Cann’s Match Pick: Misfits

Game #2: Fnatic vs. AstIralis

Game Breakdown: There is no reason you should have overwhelming faith in Fnatic at this point. It has been an entire split of making excuses for them and explaining away the fact that they have gone from a top-two team to now looking from the outside in on the playoffs. This match will be more predicated on what AST’s jungler (Xerxe) can leverage his normal early-game lead. If he can use that tempo to get his lanes ahead, we have seen the ADC (Upset) and mid (Humanoid) from FNC struggle.

Favorite Picks: Upset (FNC: $7,600), Fnatic ($5,000)

Value Picks: Kobbe ($10,500/$7,000), JeongHoon (AST: $5,000), Xerxe (AST: $6,400)

Cann’s Match Pick: Astralis

Game #3: Rogue vs. Excel Esports

Game Breakdown: There are two games where the favorite is primed for an upset, this is one of them. Rogue hasn’t bee the same regular-season force that we have seen in splits past. They have had moments where they were late to fights or just getting caught in bad rotations. XL are coming into this match desperate. At one point, this team was sitting in first and people were praising their smart org decisions. Now? They look like they will all be on their way back home on Monday.

Favorite Picks: Larssen (RGE: $7,600), Comp (RGE: $7,800), Trymbi (RGE: $5,800)

Value Picks: Finn (XL: $5,400), Macaron (XL: $6,000)

Cann’s Match Pick: Rogue

Game #4: Vitality vs. SK Gaming

Game Breakdown: Team Vitality is the hottest team in the League right now and I am not sure if it is close. A lot of this has stemmed from (and it’s continuation hinges on) the success of Perkz in the mid lane. In recent weeks, teams have over adjusted by trying to heavily focus on Carzzy (ADC) and what they have done is give Perkz more space to not only scale but make things happen in the mid lane. SK Gaming are not the easiest opponent (contrary to their current standings would suggest) but I fully expect VIT to continue to put pressure on Rogue in front of them.

Favorite Picks: Perkz (VIT: $11,100/$7,400), Haru (VIT: $7,200)

Value Picks: JNX (SK: $5,000), Jezu (SK: $6,000)

Cann’s Match Pick: Vitality

Game #5: MAD Lions vs. G2 Esports

Game Breakdown: Possibly the most electric game on the slate, the two titans square off, jockeying for playing off positioning in a few weeks. Getting the higher seed is so important because it shortens your path to the Word Championships. Caps has cooled off a bit from his hot start at the beginning of the split. This has put more pressure on his laners to do more of the heavy lifting. If this continues, fully expect MAD to run away with this match. If Caps can beat his old rival in Nisqy in lane, this could be a seriou upset and flip your lobby based on the MAD Lion’s popularity

Favorite Picks: Nisqy (MAD: $7,200), Unf0rgiven (MAD: $7,400)

Value Picks: BrokenBlade (G2: $5,800), Jankos (G2: $6,200), Flakked (G2: $6,800)

Cann’s Match Pick: MAD Lions
