Nothing but standard play out of the League of Legends Pro League and Champions Korea on Wednesday. We are now set up for some pretty heavy favorites on Thursday’s LPL/LCK slate for League of Legends DFS lineups. You can build your eSports daily fantasy lineups on DraftKings with the LoL DFS slate starting up at 4:00 AM ET on Thursday morning. In the LCK, we have two teams who seem to be on a playoff trajectory with T1 and KT Rolster facing off against two other squads seemingly missing the cut-off in Hanwha Life Esports and Kwangdong Freecs. I think the LCK is pretty tight after the Gen.G and T1 tier of talent, so expect anything in the KT versus HLE matchup. The LPL has shown us, although not as much as the LEC has, how much any team can win when given a chance. With that in mind, I think both of Thursday's matchups could be trap games for the favorites. So who do we pick up for your League of Legends daily fantasy lineups? Look for consistency of play rather than the watermarks for some of these players. Let’s dive in and check out the League of Legends DFS top plays for Thursday morning's eSports daily fantasy action!

League of Legends DFS Breakdown
Series #1: T1 Esports vs. Kwangdong Freecs
Series Breakdown: The last meeting between these two teams, a 2-1 series win for KDF, is skewing the numbers on this matchup quite a bit. I rewatched this series for more context and am hard-pressed to assume that this part of history will repeat itself. There were picks in that series like the Kayle top, Seraphine support, and Swain mid; that was just not part of normal drafting. Fast forward a month and now champions like Kayle and Swain are mainstays and teams like T1 have fully incorporated them into draft strategies. In that series, we also saw Gumayusi and Keira have an uncharacteristic performance with a lack of impact in the late game. Gumayusi (75 kills, 4.9 KDA, and a 70% team kill participation rate) is a core piece to the late game strategy for T1. He hasn’t had as high of a kill percentage as he has had in the past but we see him as a focal point in late-game damage. Teddy (64 kills, 3.1 KDA, 31% team kill share percentage) will need to have another standout performance to beat his previous team. I love Zeus in my lineups as he is one of the highest-producing top laners in the world right now.
Favorite Picks: Gumayusi (T1: $11,400/$7,600), Zeus (T1: $6,600), Keria (T1: 45,800)
Value Picks: Teddy (KDF: $6,600), FATE (KDF: $6,600)
Cann’s Match Pick: T1 Esports (2-1)
Series #2: Hanwha Life Esports vs. KT Rolster
Series Breakdown: I love KT Rolster here and the advantages they should be able to establish in this matchup. Aiming has the second highest kill total among ADCs (98) and he has a 75% team kill participation rate through 24 games. This is where we will see KT shine and it will need to be the point of priority for HLE. If there is an angle for HLE in this matchup I actually see it coming through their jungler, OnFleek. Now OnFleek is very death prone (1.9 KDA) but he is also extremely active throughout the game. This activity should lead to irregular patterns of play which could throw KT off of their game. This is unlikely but a possible win-condition for HLE.
Favorite Picks: Aiming (KT: $11,700/$7,800), Rascal (KT: $6,400), KT Rolster ($5,200)
Value Picks: Karis (HLE: $6,400), OnFleek (HLE: $6,000)
Cann’s Match Pick: KT Rolster (2-0)
Series #3: FunPlus Phoenix vs. Anyone’s Legend
Series Breakdown: I waffled back and forth on the winner of this game. I don’t know why AL is currently in 5th and is seen as the underdog to FPX. FPX is seen as a sexy pick in the LPL, winning four of the last five, and has added a serious carry threat in Summit in the top lane. That being said, they are still flawed and while they beat LNG and JDG… they have also lost to OMG and LGD. Anyone’s Legend has had great production out of both Betty (ADC) and Forge (mid) and have a 30% better game win percentage (70% v 40%) compared to FPX. If you are someone who likes to enter multiple entries in a lobby, make an AL-heavy lineup. This could be a really defining series for both teams and could define both squads' placement in the postseason.
Favorite Picks: Care (FPX: $7,400), Summit (FPX: $6,200), FunPlus Phoenix ($4,800)
Value Picks: Forge (AL: $10,500/$7,000), Betty (AL: $10,500/$7,000), Xiaohao (AL: $6,400)
Cann’s Match Pick: Anyone’s Legend (2-1)
Series #4: Edward Gaming vs. LGD Gaming
Series Breakdown: On paper, EDG should run away with this game. In application, there is part of me that is worried. EDG, the defending World Champion, currently has a 6-4 series record (LGD is 1-7) and a 14-11 game record (LGD is 7-14). When you look at the games played, there doesn’t seem to be as wide of a gap between the two organizations and there should be an ocean between them. In fact, EDG’s biggest carry threat (Viper) is only 18 kills ahead of the ADC from LGD (Assum) and he has played four more games than him. My rational brain says slam EDG players but there is a lot of risk in these EDG players for the price tags that they are carrying.
Favorite Picks: Viper (EDG: $12,000/$8,000), Scout (EDG: $11,700/$7,800), Edward Gaming ($5,600)
Value Picks: Jinjiao (LGD: $4,400), Assum (LGD: $6,200)
Cann’s Match Pick: Edward Gaming (2-0)
