Of the four teams, this slate has huge implications for Bilibili and Invictus Gaming. Both teams are within striking distance of making the playoff cut. Victory Five has stakes in the game, they have slid three spots (from first to fourth) as they have dropped two straight series and need to almost be perfect the rest of the way to have a shot at the first spot in the LPL. Being in Week 9 of 10 weeks, teams have only a handful of series left to make an impact on their chances on playoff positioning. Series #1: Rare Atom v Invictus Gaming

Series Breakdown: This series comes down to one player, Xun. Xun, jugnler for IG, has to show up and output big numbers (94 kills, 170 assists) against Rare Atom. Xun is one of the most prolific players in his role and if we was on a more talented roster, you could expect him to pick up higher numbers. I think IG has found a little more success since moving Ahn into the starting ADC and he will need to keep former LPL ADC star (iBoy) in check to win the series. This will be ugly but Rare Atom hasn’t shown us enough to think they can just “show up” in a series they should be competitive in.

Series Breakdown: At the beginning of the Spring Split, you could have argued that this may be the Championship for the LPL. At the beginning of the Summer Split, you would have never guessed that V5 would have only had a -300 odds to win the series. The path of both of these teams have been wild. BLG has drastically underperformed and seemingly moving their once benched ADC, Doggo, back into the starting lineup. V5 has lost two straight series and have looked horrible for the last month or so. So which versions of these teams do we get on Tuesday? Who outputs high numbers? My guess is V5 but I have such a hard time placing 100% faith in them.
