Big time matches slated for Thursday including a matchup to decide the third-best team in the LCK! We are in week 4 of the LCK which means we are rapidly nearing the halfway point of the Summer Split. Who these teams actually are is quickly becoming more apparent and we are getting a better sense of which players are actually worth taking in your lineup. With how DraftKings has set the lines, you can find some pretty good value across the slate and pick up some really big performing players for a relatively low price. Make sure you take into consideration the bonus that a player picks up for their team winning 2-0 when making your choices because those bonus points can make a huge difference in your final placement in the lobby. Let’s dive in!

Fantasy Value Breakdown

Series #1: Damwon Gaming v DRX

Series Breakdown: This will be an interesting matchup because these two teams are right on top of each other in the standings and had very different results in week 3. DK went 2-0 last week with no game losses no less. DRX on the other hand went 0-2 in their series and struggled in some areas that they hadn’t in previous weeks. For DK, this series will be an important test to see if they had actually addressed some of their standing issues. Most importantly, if deokam and kellin are actually back in their previous form, this could be a quick series for DK. If DRX’s ADC (Deft) is left to be a contributor in the late game, their mid-laner (Zeka) could have some space to put up some big numbers against a more passive lane opponent (ShowMaker).

Favorite Picks: deokdam (DK: $11,400/$7,600), Nuguri (DK: $6,400), Kellin (DK: $6,000),

Value Picks: Zeka (DRX: $10, 200/$6,800), Deft (DRX: $7,000), Pyosik (DRX: $6,000), DRX ($4,600)

Cann’s Match Pick: Damwon Gaming (2-1)

Series #2: Hanwha Life Esports v Liiv SANBOX

Series Breakdown: In their 5 series played, Hanwha has picked up only one win (against the league’s worst team, BRO) but kept some of their series closer. I don’t think this will be the case on Thursday and the biggest reason is that the biggest carry for LSB (Prince) is heads and tails above where his lane opponent (SamD) is in terms of production. Prince should cross the 60 kill mark in the first game of this series and he has a near 6 KDA while being at a 74% team kill percentage. SamD has twice the deaths as Prince and is only at a 62% team kill participation rate. Finding ways to slot LSB into your lineup may be a higher priority as compared to Damwon, which seems counter-intuitive thinking about the pricetags for all the players.

Favorite Picks: Prince (LSB: $11,100/$7,400), Croco (LSB: $6,600), Dove (LSB: $6,200), Liiv SANBOX ($5,200)

Value Picks: SamD (HLE: $7,200), Karis (HLE: $7,000),

Cann’s Match Pick: Liiv SANBOX (2-0)
