PrizePicks Prop Selections
jayzaR (Chetz) - Over 38.5 Kills
No pick is ever truly a lock, but this pick is about as close to a lock as it gets for me on PrizePicks. Chetz is a slight underdog against ALTERNATE aTTaX on Tuesday, and jayzaR is their star AWPer. In the past three months, jayzaR has been on fire with a 1.18 Rating and 0.80 kills per round. He has 455 kills across 21 maps played in that time for an average of about 21.67 kills per map. I actually favor Chetz to win this series and I definitely think it will be competitive considering they are the underdogs. JayzaR can easily go over on this kill total, and his 0.80 average kills per round show his enormous potential upside in a close series. I love the over in this spot.
smooya (Movistar Riders) - Over 41.5 Kills
It is always nice when PrizePicks gives us a projection for the star player on a team, and smooya is the star AWPer for Movistar Riders, so I am not concerned about his high total. He has been incredible over the past three months with a 1.23 Rating and 0.79 kills per round. He has 2139 kills across 102 maps played in that time for an average of about 20.97 kills per map. He has been extremely consistent and even had a Rating over one for 16 straight maps in April of this year. Movistar Riders are only slight favorites in this series, and their opponent, GamerLegion, has won four of their last five series. I expect Movistar Riders to win, but GamerLegion is in good form right now, so a competitive series should be in order, which means there is certainly upside for smooya here.
