PrizePicks Prop Selections

  • SENSEi (Akuma) - Over 38.5 Kills (Maps 1-2)

Akuma got accused of cheating at EPIC CIS League Spring 2021, which means it might be fair to discredit their recent stats. However, the one certainty on this team has been SENSEi, and SENSEi’s talent with the AWP cannot be undermined regardless of your opinion on the Akuma cheating accusations. In the past three months, he has a 1.36 Rating with 0.84 kills per round across 37 maps played. His stats have come down slightly in the past month (which you could speculate may have something to do with Akuma no longer using their ‘radar hacks’, but that is up to you…), but he still has a rating greater than one in his past seven maps and he frequently gets over 20 kills on maps even in losses. Akuma are underdogs against forZe in this spot, but I think they can keep things somewhat close which means there is tremendous upside on the over here. SENSEi’s ceiling is simply too high for me to not take this over.

  • YEKINDAR (Virtus.pro) - Over 40.5 Kills (Maps 1-2)

YEKINDAR is my favorite play on the PrizePicks board for Sunday, especially since VP is at bootcamp for this tournament and YEKINDAR is on site with them. His stats have trended down a bit in recent months as the team has shifted around the responsibility of entry fragging, but I expect him to get back to good form and this could be the time to buy low. YEKINDAR has still been one of the top players in the world in 2021 with a 1.15 Rating with 0.75 kills per round across 103 maps played so far this year, and it only takes one good map for him to exceed this total. Virtus.pro is a heavy favorite in this spot and should dominate the series, and YEKINDAR will likely be at the top of the leaderboards since he plays so aggressively and will have a lot of chances to frag.
