PrizePicks Prop Selections
- jnt (Sharks) - Over 32.5 Kills (Maps 1-2)
The oddsmakers have this match-up between Sharks and Iberian Family basically as a coinflip, which means we could be in for a really competitive series. I actually like Sharks chances here to win and jnt should be in for a solid day. Both teams like to play Vertigo which means it will probably get floated through as the decider map. Sharks would then probably pick Dust2 since they have won it four times in a row while Iberian Family has lost it four times in a row. Jnt has been great on Dust2 this year with a 1.16 Rating and 0.69 kills per round across 10 maps played in 2021. Iberian Family is 0-2 on Dust2 so far with this roster, so Sharks should win several rounds and jnt should put up a respectable number of kills on his team’s map pick. Thus, I see upside on this total, especially since I think Sharks can win the series.
- Maka (LDLC) - Over 36.5 Kills (Maps 1-2)
Maka has the highest rating on his team in the past three months at 1.16 and he also has averaged the most kills per round during that time at 0.73. LDLC is a (+175) underdog against forZe on Friday, but I think they can keep things close here, and Maka tends to step up against better teams. These teams faced earlier in the month, and Maka had 46 kills across two maps despite LDLC getting swept. If his team can win a map this time, then the over should hit with ease, and even if forZe sweeps then there is still plenty of upside on this total. 36.5 kills is just too low of a projection for a player of Maka’s caliber, even with his team as an underdog, so I like the over a lot here.
