PrizePicks Prop Selections
- raalz (Lyngby Vikings) - Over 36.5 Kills (Maps 1-2)
Lyngby Vikings are (+180) underdogs against ENCE on Monday, but I think they will at least take a map in this series. At the end of June, Lyngby Vikings parted ways with J3nsyy and have been playing with Kristou in their lineup since. They have won all five maps with Kristou in the lineup, and raalz has had 24, 22, 23, 22, and 19 kills on those maps, so the roster change has not negatively impacted his play thus far. Raalz has been the highest rated player on his team with a 1.11 Rating in the past three months, and he has averaged 0.72 kills per round during that time. The map pool for this series is certainly not set in stone, but I think Lyngby Vikings will likely pick either Inferno or Overpass, which are both excellent maps for raalz. In the past month, raalz has a 1.22 Rating along with 0.76 kills per round across six maps played on Inferno. His numbers are even better on Overpass with a 1.33 Rating and 0.83 kills per round across seven maps played during that time. His projected total is only 36.5 in this spot probably because Lyngby Vikings are underdogs, but they have looked solid with Kristou and I expect this to be a competitive series, so I think the over has tremendous upside here.
- JUST (SAW) - Over 38.5 Kills (Maps 1-2)
This match-up between SAW and Movistar Riders is for the 11th place decider of ESEA Premier Season 37 Europe. Now, an 11th place decider match sounds pretty insignificant, but that is not the case here. The winner will automatically qualify for ESEA Premier Season 38 Europe, while the losing team will have to earn it through the Season 37 Relegation tournament. A poor performance at the Relegation tournament would send the team to the lower division ESEA Advanced Season 38 Europe, so both teams will look to avoid this possibility at all costs. This means we should be in for a very competitive series, and I think SAW has a good chance to come out on top, though the odds have Movistar Riders as a slight favorite. JUST has been the highest rated player on SAW in the past month with a 1.12 Rating across 33 maps played, and he has averaged 0.73 kills per round during that time. The most likely map pick for Movistar Riders would be Overpass, which would be great for JUST, as he has a 1.20 Rating and 0.77 kills per round across 3 maps played on Overpass in the past month. JUST is the player to target on SAW in general, plus I think we see two really close maps here, so this game environment should be perfect for him to pop off. The over just makes a lot of sense given the circumstances.
