PrizePicks Prop Selections
- XANTARES (BIG) - Over 39.5 Kills (Maps 1-2)
BIG has continued to rely on XANTARES to carry, especially as syrsoN has slowed down this year after such a strong performance in 2020. XANTARES has been the highest rated player on BIG in the past three months with a 1.13 Rating and 0.73 kills per round. He has also averaged just over 20 kills per map during that time with 1985 kills across 99 maps played. BIG are heavy favorites at (-335) odds against SKADE, but SKADE is still a solid team and I think they can keep things competitive here, which would be the perfect game environment for XANTARES to put up big numbers. XANTARES has had at least 20 kills in five of his last eight maps played, and he still had 19, 16, and 19 kills on the three other maps that went under 20. Thus, I think there is plenty of upside on the over at this total, and we just need SKADE to keep things competitive enough for XANTARES to pad his stats which is completely reasonable.
- xsepower (bankaPEPSI) - Over 39.5 Kills (Maps 1-2)
This is my favorite play on the PrizePicks Friday board by far. BankaPEPSI is a (-200) favorite against EC Kyiv on Friday and xsepower has been their best player with a 1.18 Rating and 0.79 kills per round in the past three months. We just saw bankaPEPSI play for the first time in a couple of weeks and they looked strong with a 2-1 win against SKADE. Xsepower led the way with 75 kills across three maps, and he even had 40 kills on Overpass in a 19-17 overtime win. I would not be surprised to see xsepower at the top of the leaderboards at the end of this series against EC Kyiv, and I expect bankaPEPSI to secure the win. This projection is just way too low for someone who can take over a map with the AWP like xsepower, so the over is a no brainer here.
